I have never stayed at a Westin hotel s...A very late review but better than never! I stayed at this hotel from May 28th - June 1st for Dreamcon that was hosted at the George R. Brown Convention Center. I have never stayed at a Westin hotel so I didn't know what to expect but this hotel is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at, maybe even the nicest. The front of house staffing and front desk were very welcoming when we entered and exited. Those who worked in housekeeping, the marketplace, and at the restaurant were all kind and helpful. I wish I knew the name of every staff member that worked during that time but I can at least name two who made our stay amazing, Jestine and DJ. For the hospitality that they gave us, I hope they receive some type of raise or bonus. From big laughters, having great conversations, and being able to help us when we needed something, those two were amazing. This convention is scheduled again for next year and I have already decided that I will be staying here at this hotel once again. I look forward to my stay next year once scheduled! Thank you to everyone who worked those dates during our stay. :)Show More

I love staying at this hotel for a plethora of reasons, however, this time was a bit different. So I usually work from my laptop when traveling as bringing my monitors along for the journey usually isnt feasible. As I was checking in this time I noticed the option to rent a dual monitor setup kit through OutPost. After scanning the QR code I noticed how easy and reasonably priced it was. I decided to order a kit and it was ready immediately for pickup at the front desk. I picked up the kit and it was packed to perfection. 2 monitors, keyboard, mouse and all of the connections needed. It took about 5 mins to set it all up and viola, I was up and running at maximum efficiency as if I was in my home office. So smooth. With this now being an easy option at the Westin, I will look forward to returning back knowing that I can always rent one of these kits to ensure efficiency and productivity while staying at one of my favorite Houston hotels! Jaelyn was an outstanding leader who genuinely greeted me(by my first name) each time I visited. For her to make a consistent connection, not only with me but everyone else, shows her commitment to Hospitality! Her leadership and presence made my experience Great. You can tell that her staff feeds off of her positive vibes as everyone from the valet, front desk and F&B crew truly enjoyed what they were doing. To have a hotel lobby bar feel like a locals/neighborhood hangout is a direct reflection of the leadership team. The food was great, the beverages were tasty but what made the difference was Jaelyn and her team!Show More

It’s basically like a home office set up in your hotel room - so you can be comfortable AND equally productive when working from the hotel. Hard to understate how much of a game changer this is for someone often on the road. Just rebooked here because they’re one of the few that have Outpost at the moment.Show More
