I reserved this room since my son was in a basketball tournament. I was excited about staying on the resort because it was the first time my son (age 9) and daughter (age 11) had an opportunity to vac...I reserved this room since my son was in a basketball tournament. I was excited about staying on the resort because it was the first time my son (age 9) and daughter (age 11) had an opportunity to vacation in Florida. There were several issues in our room which began the first night. The TV in my kids bunk would turn on but the channels would not change. The technician explained there was an issue and the kids could only use 3 channels using the remote but that didn’t work. Our hot water went out on night 3. I learned a work order ticket was not recorded even when reported which impacted our timing to join family for an outing across the city. On the last night, I was with other members of our basketball team. We were walking around the resort and my son got separated from the group. I begin to search for him with my daughter, niece, and other family members. I noticed a black male security officer in a white shirt and told him I needed help. He begin to collect information but then told me that the “missing child” issue was on the hotel since he was with Club Wyndham. While I understand there are lines of delineation in duties on properties like this, I believe there is an opportunity to train staff to communicate across the properties especially in the case of a “missing child”. I’m a mother and hearing an officer say sorry that’s on someone else in the middle of that moment was not only disturbing but it was also disheartening as a human being.Show More

Same as last year. They turn on ok then immediately the water drops so that you can not drink from them- at all. Last year was like this as well. Aside of this, this hotel is amazing. We love staying here as a young couple, and now with elementary age kids. So many activities and options around the resort complex. We appreciate the dedicated bus to Disney area. This year we even stayed here though we were not doing any theme parks. Instead we went to the Disney shopping/dining/entertainment area twice. Kids love the bunk bed rooms. They visited so many resort pools and lazy rivers throughout, but their favorite with our own hotel pool. Fireworks from the theme park while swimming is an amazing experience! I'd absolutely choose this hotel for any Disney related stay, or even if you are not theme parking. Amazing place that we've been returning to for years. FYI- The pirate ship waterslide pool in the next tower has great snack options for pool time- even Icee machines. Wish we had known sooner!Show More

I would not stay at this property again. It’s laid out poorly, very small pool. Towels were plentiful. Parking garage had a separate elevator. There are two lobbies. One for check in. One lower level for the pool. There is putt putt but limited hours to borrow clubs, the late checkout - 6:30-8:30 is way on the other side of the bay, nowhere near the course. None of this is explained of in the sheet they give you. The other buildings in the “resort family” have pools and restaurants but none of it is made known. Nothing is within walking distance of the resort, it’s a far drive off the highway. We had no hot water, I called 3 different days and was told to let it run. After 20 minutes it was luke warm. I really don’t want to wait that long to wash my hands. We were only on the 5th floor. Our shower supplies were clogged, again three calls and it was never fixed. I do not mind paying resort fees, but these things should be functional. Show More

Only major negative that happened was The lazy River being pretty crowded with not enough floats. We noticed people bringing their own which is kind of silly but unfortunately it was necessary. The resort held a nice barbecue on the 5th and sold $10 hot dogs and $18 burgers lmao. Being able to view the Epcot fireworks from the property was definitely a plus! There were lots of barbecue grills that people were utilizing which was really nice.Show More
