Parking was meant to be $35 per d...⭐ 1/5 — Would Not Recommend I had a really disappointing stay at Ascotia on Queen. From the start, they mucked up our parking even though I had written confirmation. Parking was meant to be $35 per day for 3 days, but they hadn’t actually booked it. They did give us one night free, but we still had to find parking elsewhere for a night—on the opposite side of Queen St, and even that was cheaper at $26. When we first walked in, the reception area smelled strongly of curry, which wasn’t a great first impression. Our room on the second floor was tiny, and the bathroom was not clean at all—there was mould all through the shower. Housekeeping even forgot to make our beds and didn’t replenish the toilet paper. On our second night, the entire second floor reeked of weed. Someone had clearly smoked out a room because it was honestly overwhelming. The beds were uncomfortable, and the duvets had yellow stains on them. To top it off, when I used the stairwell on our last night, someone had vomited everywhere. The only positive was the location, but overall this place was far from great. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Definitely look elsewhere.Show More
