Booked a suite. Was told upon arrival that there were no suites available. I disputed that a few times, and then the desk guy made a call and said that there actually was a suite available. I disputed that a few times, and then the desk guy made a call and said that there actually was a suite available. The 2-queen "suite" is literally the same as a 2-queen normal room except there's a small island in the middle with a sink. No plates, silverware, or cups. Absolutely nothing else that you would think defines a suite. Literally *every single thing* in the unit was either broken, filthy, or rusty. Furniture was mismatched and falling apart, as if it was picked out from a yard sale. Hair dryer had blood stains on the cord. Shower head points horizontally so that the water drops on to your head. Lamp shades and window shades were damaged. The room was dark, even with all lights turned on. Phone didn't work for the front desk, or the guy just ignored it. The second floor hallway was falling apart. It looked like there was duct tape patching it and painted brown to match the plastic wood panels. Wifi was good. Shower was hot. Didn't try the breakfast. I guess I'd stay here again if nothing else were available, as was the case this time. Maybe other rooms are nicer.Show More

That would make sense because this hotel is not that bad. It's a low budget hotel so don't expect much and you will be able to deal with it. We weren't looking for elegance nor perfection. We just wanted something fairly close to Universal, budget priced, clean, recently updated, spacious, closet, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, no bugs, and safe area for a short stay. This hotel fits our request. The staffers were helpful and friendly and our room was good enough. Parking was close to our room and we were close to all the fun Orlando things we wanted to do without all the hassle and high hotel prices.Show More
