I'm honestly not sure why this property gets high reviews, since my family had a terrible experience. I accumulate 50+ nights in hotels each year, and we arrived at HGV Tuscany Village immediately after a Marriott Vacation Club stay. The contrast vs Marriott was night vs day, with Tuscany Village being subpar in every aspect. We stayed at Tuscany Village on one of my family member's HGV points. Pulling up to the lobby, the outdoor music was obnoxiously loud. My HGV-member family member was immediately whisked away to a "VIP check-in" area in which they tried to sell her on attending additional timeshare presentations. Two bottles of water at check-in, and that was a strict limit for the entirety of our stay - even though we had young children who needed water, we were told we had to buy additional bottles at the vending machine - I have never witnessed a property that is so stingy. How much does a bottle of water even cost them? We stayed in building 3, and the room was clearly showing its age, with the bathtub having yellow stains. Checkout was an inflexible 10:00am deadline - the earliest check-out time I have seen in 30+ years of worldwide travel. That is equivalent to 7:00am for a family that just arrived from the West Coast. There is no reason why checkout needs to be so early, unless the property does not hire enough cleaning staff - that is the only explanation. We visited Disney parks for multiple days, and Tuscany Village's location was not any more convenient than the dozens of better properties in the area. The only redeeming qualities about this property were the generous, compassionate service of Ukrainian bellman Ilya, and the proximity to the Outlet Mall.Show More

It is all that you could wish for in a resort. It has excellent facilities such as a daily activities club for all the family, excellent pool facilities with towels available at each of the pools and a covered play area for the children out of the sun’s glare. They have thought of everything to make your stay pleasurable. The 2-bedroom apartment we had was spacious enough for our family of 4 each to have a comfortable bed without using the sofa. It was a 1-bedroom facility with a 1 bedroom lock off which had an interconnecting door and was spacious with excellent facilities for the whole family to enjoy their own space. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and always went that extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. For example, when we had an issue with one of our windows maintenances were there within minutes and promptly fixed the problem. Excellent service. Excellent staff attention to their clients. From the day we arrived we felt as if nothing was to much trouble for the staff, in fact we felt as if we were family Apart from the facilities and the excellent staff, the location is close to all parks and discount outlets which makes it a resort which is up to the Hilton’s high standards in a perfect location for your holiday. Highly recommended. However, one downside was the aggressive and high pressure salespeople we encountered at our presentation. They were rude and highly aggressive. The HGV staff wanted us to sign up to the HVC membership after a 1 hours presentation wanting us to commit to spending over $40,000 for the HVC membership without having any time to discuss it nor would they put in writing in an email to us so we could consider their offer/terms. Their attitude was very poor and were hard sales driven which is in direct contrast to the friendly and helpful attitude of the resort staff. We will definitely vacation again at this resort but will never attend another presentation with HGV again!! Show More

We arrived at the designated check in time and our room was available immediately, we had asked for a high floor room in villa 2 or 3, which we got, the room was OK, not as nice as others we have stay...We arrived at the designated check in time and our room was available immediately, we had asked for a high floor room in villa 2 or 3, which we got, the room was OK, not as nice as others we have stayed in at this resort, all the amenities were there, including Kitchen, Dishwasher, Washing Machine and dryer, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom only had a shower, no bath, but was fine for the two of us, as we prefer to shower, large tv's in the living room & bedroom. The location is superb, right next to the premium outlet, where there is a direct access gate at the back of the property and restaurants and a major supermarket (Publix) opposite, you can get a Starbucks at the resort marketplace or the Starbucks store opposite. The one pool was closed when we arrived, but the main pool was open and had ample loungers, chairs and tables for all guests, there is a poolside bar/restaurant, but we didn't use it on this occasion, the pool entertainment was very good and there plenty of games run by the activities team.Show More

Then in fine print they say additional fees later you may have to pay at the hotel also. Don’t do it! I had to learn the hard way. I will never fall for these scam artists again. Also when I started recording the call., the told me I couldn’t but they only could record me speaking to them for training purposes. I told them they can’t record me if I’m not allowed to record them. They stopped talking because they knew what they were doing was the good ole bait and switch move. Shame on Marriott for allowing these scammers to do this.Show More
