The resort offers a Express Pass with every room key, al...Staying at the Loews Pacific Resort is an excellent choice for visitors to Universal Orlando, thanks to its prime location and exclusive perks. The resort offers a Express Pass with every room key, allowing guests to bypass long lines at the theme parks. Additionally, regular shuttle boats and a short 10-minute walk provide easy access to the parks. The resort's Polynesian-inspired decor and ambiance add to its charm. However, our recent stay did not quite live up to the high standards we experienced during our previous visit in 2018. The rooms appeared worn and tired, and the housekeeping service seemed to be lacking. It's possible that the resort's guaranteed clientele has led to a sense of complacency, resulting in a less-than-stellar experience. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that our two water-view rooms were not ready, despite our 5 pm check-in time. Fortunately, the concierge was accommodating and took our luggage, issued our room keys and Express Passes, and directed us to the Universal Parks. During our five-day stay, we observed that housekeeping seemed to prioritise cleaning rooms that were easily accessible, rather than focusing on preparing rooms for new arrivals. On a more positive note, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experiences at Jake's Diner, where the staff made us feel welcome, and the food and drinks were reasonably priced. We also appreciated the convenient and affordable breakfast options at the Tuk Tuk Market. The Orchid Court was another highlight, where we relaxed with a few drinks of an evening. To ensure a smooth departure, be sure to update your room key when checking out, as this will allow you to continue accessing the pool area and theme parks. The resort also provides showers, toilets, and complimentary toiletries near the pool area, making it easy to freshen up before heading home.Show More

Our party of 4 adults stayed in two adjoining rooms, and we were thoroughly impressed. The rooms were beautifully appointed and extremely clean. Each room included a small fridge and a keurig coffee...Our party of 4 adults stayed in two adjoining rooms, and we were thoroughly impressed. The rooms were beautifully appointed and extremely clean. Each room included a small fridge and a keurig coffee maker; regular and decaf coffee pods were provided, along with sugar and creamer packets. We were in Tower 2 facing the entrance to the hotel, with a great view of tropical landscaping and Islands of Adventure in the distance. Check-in was easy, and you use your room card key to get into the parking lot. The walkway to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure is beautiful and felt extremely safe; the walk took less than 10 minutes, but we took the boat taxi one day just for fun. The bus ride to Epic took maybe 15 minutes. Having the Unlimited Express Passes at Univeral and IOA was fantastic, and we were able to do and see everything we wanted to with one day at each park. The cost of each room is not unreasonable when you consider the cost of the included Unlimited Express Passes. We picked up sandwiches at the Tuk Tuk Market and ate them in our room one night; the food was pricey but of excellent quality. Another night, we stopped at Jake's American Bar; again, the food was a little bit pricey but of excellent quality. We did not have time to enjoy the pool, but it was huge, beautiful, and tended by lifeguards. In the parks, we were able to have our purchases sent to our room, which simplified things greatly. Packages are delivered to your room the day AFTER you purchase them, so this service isn't available the day before you check out. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely stay here again!Show More

The hotel facilities were excellent — the lobby and common areas were spotless, the restaurants and bars had a great atmosphere, and even the small on-site shops were lovely to browse through, offering a nice selection of souvenirs and essentials without feeling overpriced. The convenience of being so close to Universal made everything incredibly easy, and we really enjoyed the overall experience.Show More

Even though we were early they were...We arrived back from a fabulous holiday at Universal, staying at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort. I was with my sister and we absolutely loved it! Check in was easy. Even though we were early they were happy to check us in. We had a great view of the parks and the rooms were really comfortable. It was certainly a nice place to come and relax after a busy day at the parks. The proximity to the parks is also fabulous. We walked there most days which took less than 10 minutes and caught the water boat back. The express passes are certainly a game changer on the park. We previously visited in 2018 and did not have these- it completely changed the experience. We also loved Tuk tuk market, particularly their choice of hot food which was quick and easy. Using the room cards to pay on park and getting everything delivered to the hotel is also very helpful. We also made good use of the text service to book restaurants or check information with concierge or housekeeping. Vacation planning also enabled us to get express passes for Epic universe which I had not be able to get prior to our visit. Hopefully the express passes for this park will also be included the next time we visit as they make changes to park passes. The only very tiny suggestion would be to leave more coffee capsules in the room, as well as proper milk for the tea rather than creamer- I am aware that this is very specific request for tea drinkers from the uk!
