The warm smile of the manager Dane as I walked in made me instantly feel welcome. I was even greeted with a lovely welcome drink, which was such a thoughtful touch after my travels. Dane truly leads by example – and it shows in every member of his team. Yuselly is kind, cheerful, and always willing to help, just like everyone else I met during my stay – always ready with a smile, a helpful tip, or a genuine desire to make your day easier. You can really feel that guest comfort is their top priority, and that’s what makes all the difference. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail. My room was spotlessly clean (10/10), spacious, and comfortable, with a stunning view of Lake Eola that reminde me how the life is beautiful. The entire surrounding area is beautifully maintained, and the hotel’s location couldn’t be better: just steps from the city center, with lovely morning walks around the lake, charming cafés, restaurants, and shops all within easy reach. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and with plenty of choices to start the day right. Tomorrow, I’ll treat myself to some relaxation by the pool. A little luxury everyone deserves once in a while. Location was great for our needs, next to lake Eola for the Sunday markets, near downtown, Thornton park, close to a couple of supermarkets. Probably not the best place to stay if you want to visit Disney or Universal, as it’s a bit of a drive and you’d need a car, but as I had a local friend with a car, it was fine for us, especially if we wanted to walk somewhere on non Park days. Nightly drinks and nibbles is a standard embassy suites thing, smallish but reasonable breakfast with omelettes cooked to order. There’s even a little convenience store in the building. We didn’t use the Pool or Gym as I had a. Cold during my stay, but the gym looked like you could get a decent workout, small with ok equipment. Bonus for us on a long trip was a card operated washing machine and dryer. Rooms were quiet and dark, bed was comfortable. I’d say here again if visiting Orlando.Show More

The hotel was sparkling clean and the customer service was excellent. The notorious breakfast with the omelette station and buffet was fantastic. The evening reception was really good in terms of two strong complimentary drinks per night. The evening reception would have been rated excellent if there were a little more snacks. The snacks were onion dip which was delicious, chips, trail mix, cheese and crackers. The location is unmatched. Across the street from the backside of the hotel is Lake Eola which is really nice and within a few blocks are restaurants, shops, and more night life than we could handle. However, we did not hear any street noise once in the hotel. We will definitely be staying at this property again when in Orlando.Show More

I really like the feel of the embassy suites layout, with all doors facing the large private courtyard. You can hear the waterfall and look down at the restaurant/bar/lounge area. It feels open and airy, yet private and away from the outside world. I love that the plants are real, and so are the very pleasant and professional staff. I especially like that the rooms feel like small apartments with every possible comfort: separate living are with large table for work or dining, refrigerator, microwave, iron, with ironing board, hair dryer, toiletries, comfortable clean bed. 2 tvs. I regretted not bringing a bathing suit because the pool area was beautiful. I 'm looking forward to next year.Show More
