We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the State Farm Arena and th...Our family stayed November 1-3, 2025. We were in Atlanta for the Paul McCartney concert. We made our reservations in early July. We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the State Farm Arena and that it had its own gateway to enter the arena. However, the week before our stay we called about parking and arena entry. We were informed that the Omni’s gateway into the arena was closed due to construction. Nowhere on the website was this mentioned! We would have picked a different hotel that was cheaper than the Omni if we had known about the construction issue. We had dinner at the New South Kitchen restaurant on property. We ordered our son’s chicken fingers meal before we ordered anything else. Our appetizer arrived, my wife and I ate them, our entrées arrived, and we were halfway through them and our son’s meal still had not arrived. I had to get up and track down our waiter to get his meal. Never received an apology or any acknowledgment that something went wrong. The manager was walking around The restaurant and stopped at every table, except ours. The one table that there was a problem! We were in the north tower on the 16th floor. We were told our room had been renovated. Yet there were only two outlets and two USB ports in the entire room. This is totally inadequate for a modern hotel room, especially at the price the Omni is charging. The beds were lumpy and hard and very uncomfortable. Even our 10-year-old son complained about the beds. Street noise was very prominent, even after midnight. The design of the bathroom sink was an issue. It was placed too far back against the wall and you had to lean way over to wash your hands and the way the faucet was set up water got all over the counter. If staying in downtown Atlanta area for a concert or a sporting new event, I would stay somewhere other than the Omni.Show More

Booking was a nightmare online after trying for multiple days to submit my request, so I booked by phone. When we checked in, the two rooms we reserved were not available, and they tried to split the family up into two different floors. When I said that wasn’t okay, they magically found two rooms next to each other, but o had to press. On day 2, we were wrongly accused twice by phone of having a dog in our room and told to come pay a pet deposit. I tried to explain they were mistaken, but they insisted they were right on two different calls and argued with me. A third call was an apology for their mistake. The next night while in bed, a plumber barged into our room and said we called for him from our room number, but we did not. Upon checkout, we were charged $600 extra for no reason, so I decided to email and describe our stay and ask for a refund of the overcharged amount. The response was nice, but the only act of apology from that exchange has been an offer for a 1-night free stay that I have yet to actually receive information about how to redeem and don’t really desire to use after our experience, but my suggestion of a discount/refund was ignored. I am in shock of how many things went wrong in 3 days.Show More

Prior to arrival, I requested a toddler crib, which was provided — however, I was surprised to find that it came with no mattress. When I asked about it, I was told that this is how the crib is normally provided and was advised to place blankets inside for cushioning. Unfortunately, this was not sufficient or safe for a baby. As a result, I had to remove the mattress from the main bed and place it on the floor so the baby could sleep safely without the risk of falling. This was very inconvenient and disappointing, especially for a hotel of your caliber. To be frank, this experience would make me hesitant to choose Omni again in the future. A crib without a proper mattress is comparable to providing a bedframe without a mattress — it’s simply unusable and puts families in a difficult situation. I hope you will consider reviewing your toddler crib setup to ensure a safe and comfortable sleeping arrangement for young children.Show More

The hotel charged me for TWO nights of valet parking, yet I only used the service for ONE night. I returned the rental car to the airport before my second night's stay. This is a clear case of fraudulent billing. When I called the hotel to resolve this incorrect charge, the service was even worse. I was given the complete runaround—I waited for nearly an hour, and everyone kept passing the buck to a different department. Absolutely no one was willing or able to solve the simple billing mistake. To be charged incorrectly and then be forced to waste an hour of my time with staff who refuse to take responsibility is enraging. I expect immediate action to correct this charge and a formal apology for the incredibly poor customer service.Show More
