The entrance is super impressive and you instantly know you arrived somewhere special when you get there. Our room was large and comfortable, with a lovely balcony looking out over the city. (We splurged on the upgrade and it was 100% worth it.) The bathroom was very large and felt really luxurious. The beds were super comfortable too. Everything was super clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly, including the cleaning staff who always kindly greeted us in the corridors. The location is perfect for day trips and seeing Kyoto. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.Show More

The room was huge, but a noticeable part of the area is spent on the long corridor, but still we were left with a big and comfortable space. The room was a special type with a nice balcony. The bathroom had two sinks, which is a big bonus. Still, the closets for clothes were disproportionately small, as in the other hotels in Japan, and with no shelves.
