The staff was friendly and helpful. Solomon, our valet, provided exceptional service. I left my jacket in the car, Solomon retrieved it and before we could head downstairs, it was brought to our room....The staff was friendly and helpful. Solomon, our valet, provided exceptional service. I left my jacket in the car, Solomon retrieved it and before we could head downstairs, it was brought to our room. Later we realized we left our carrier water bottles in the car. Solomon made a quick second trip!. He assisted with our comings and goings, always with a smile. Thank you Solomon for excellent service with a smile! The mattress felt worn, very sunken across the middle, but the room was very clean and the shower was excellent. Also good quick room coffee. The location is within easy walking distance of restaurants and music, The museum was a quick Uber away. We love DC, this was one of our more enjoyable stays. I would recommend for a quick weekend getaway.show more

Have stayed here 2times for business. Staff is good and attentive! But in this one case I have to mention 2things that affected my experience. 1.). Television stations off. Television stations off. Guide showed one thing but something else was showing or the screen was blank with no programming. Had to use my iPad. 2.) reserved a bike. The person who delivered the bike gave it to me with the front tire completely unscrewed from the frame. Had I not been an experienced rider learned to check loaned bikes, I definitely would’ve lost that front tire on the ride causing me great injury! Please check your bikes before you ride. The food in the restaurant was good as usual!!!!show more

The staff were outstanding especially Marisse, Karima, Kyle, Teo, Ellen, who were incredibly warm, attentive, and made me and my family feel truly welcome. Their kindness and professionalism truly elevated our stay. Our suite was absolutely lovely- spacious, spotless, and comforting. We were surprised with delicious strawberry chocolate, which was such a thoughtful touch. It made the experience feel even more special. The hotel has a great atmosphere, excellent service, and a team that genuinely cares about their guests. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting DC!show more

Upon arrival in our room, we were greeted with a plate of dark chocolate covered stawberries with a happy anniversary note. The room was comfy, very clean and quiet. It was also the perfect location for us as we had dinner reservations one evening at Barcelona on 14th st nw and snother night at Mita at v st NW well as a spa date at Aura on U st and a visit to the Phillips Collection- all were within a lovely walking distance from the hotel.show more
