I will start off by saying that I am a Marriott elite and, therefore, should be treated better than a regular guest. I picked the Delta over the nearby Sheraton because people generally rate it highe...I will start off by saying that I am a Marriott elite and, therefore, should be treated better than a regular guest. I picked the Delta over the nearby Sheraton because people generally rate it higher. These ratings are inexplicable. The elevator layout is strange and confusing. I and other guests had problems figuring out which elevator had arrived. The room that I was assigned was dingy and very worn. The carpet had stains. It directly faced Harbor, and there was a lot of road noise. The thermostat had no temperature control. It was located by the window, meaning that the temperature outside had more to do with whether the heat or cooling ran than the inside temperature. The bathroom was also well-worn. The sink was chipped. The towels were mismatched; I got one with a Hilton tag! The first time I used the shower, the diverter was stuck with the valve set to the wand. This is to say, I was immediately hit with cold water from an unexpected location. While I was taking showers, the light turned off several times. And I wasn't taking an extremely long time. The hotel is too close to justify driving to the convention center or theme parks, but a very, very long walk. The intervening neighborhood can be exciting, but not in a good way. While Joe's has a great product, it attracts an undesirable crowd after school gets out. If you're good with the distance, I'd suggest going with the Sheraton instead.Show More

The hotel has a coffee bar (serving Starbucks), a restaurant, and a bar. It's a (lower tier) Marriott property although they wouldn't give me Bonvoy points because I booked through Booking.com.Show More

The location was great, staff was super cool, Starbucks flagship at the spot and room were super clean.
