What a true disappointment. Loved The Viv, always came back to the VIV with my boyfriend as our little staycation getaway since we have Disney passes, but this may be the last time we will stay here.
...What a true disappointment. Loved The Viv, always came back to the VIV with my boyfriend as our little staycation getaway since we have Disney passes, but this may be the last time we will stay here.
This last visit, we used our D23 discount, and on the D23 page it states you get a whole bunch of freebies like a drawstring bag, water bottles and discounted parking. Upon checkin and inquiring about the free stuff, the staff seemed clueless, was rude about it, and just stated "oh we don't have that stuff here! Let me take a photo and contact them to take it off". Truly disappointed. And I ended up paying full price for parking ($44/night). Also the staff didn't inform us that we were going to be charged $250 safety deposit fee, so to our surprise we got a $250 charge on our card and started freaking out cause we have no idea what the charge was for until we asked when we checked out.
The room itself is spacious but clean is questionable. We ended up with bites on our body, and the bathroom still had hair on the counters and over the tissue. The hotel was dirty also. Elevators had stains everywhere, dirty tissues on the floor and the hallways had just random dirty towels on the floor.
They charged us a $50 destination fee which included free wine/beer from 4-6 at Valencia. Upon showing up, there is no wait staff, no hostess, just a sign that says grab a menu and seat yourself. So we did and waited over 10 minutes to no one serving us still. What a waste, definitely opt out of this since you can, it's not worth it.
This place used to be tip top and clean and accommodating, but things have changed a lot.Show More
