We have been lucky enough to visit Benidorm three times a year for the past few years and have stayed in various hotels, most of which have been fine. We have tried various chains, boutique, old town,...We have been lucky enough to visit Benidorm three times a year for the past few years and have stayed in various hotels, most of which have been fine. We have tried various chains, boutique, old town, new town, expensive and budget and nowhere, in our experience, has been as good as the Helios for value for money and superb customer service. From checking in (Lovely lady, I think her name is Angeles, excellent first impressions and all the staff are a credit to the hotel) to sadly saying goodbye was an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. The location of the hotel is perfect, short walk to the strip, beach or market but it is far enough away that we noticed no noise or music. The room was bright and modern and it was cleaned daily to a high standard. One of the features that we appreciated was that the electrics were not card operated so the drinks in the fridge stayed cold, a small point but it was a nice touch. There is a bar that was very reasonably priced but oddly designed, some tables had no eye sight of the entertainment, but this is a very minor issue. The absolute star of the show was the restaurant, breakfast was amazing and the quality and variety of the food available combined with excellent service by the restaurant team made for a great start to the day. Coffee was good and strong and the continental choice was vast, various cuts of cheese and meats, plenty of fresh tomatoes and cucumber together with some lightly pickled eggs on a selection of warm rolls followed by some fresh fruit. It's a testament to the quality and quantity of the food that I didn't manage an English breakfast in the entire week but my wife did and she was very impressed. We will be back in 2026, hopefully on many occasions, and I'll be recommending this hotel to anyone who asks. Thank you to all the staff who made our week such a wonderful stay.Show More

Hotel helios is my 1st choice of Hotel ,booked direct for a ten night stay from the 1st November .large room overlooking the pool & gardens comfy beds and spotlessly clean bedding , we requested a ba...Hotel helios is my 1st choice of Hotel ,booked direct for a ten night stay from the 1st November .large room overlooking the pool & gardens comfy beds and spotlessly clean bedding , we requested a bath which we got with an over head shower. hairdryer and large balcony .I have been a guest of the helios since 1995 and have seen many changes & alterations through out the years but I can honestly say the staff are 1st class ! Nothing is too much,you are not a room number you are a guest who are made very welcome .All the reception staff ,the bar staff ,life guards,house maids, maintenance staff ,spa ladies & resturant staff are extremely polite .Food in the spacious resturant is lovely, lots of various breakfast choices & the evening meals are delicious. The bar meals are very good value with a wide food menu choice. The pool & garden area is lovely and not over crowded there are plenty of sun loungers avaliable through out the day .There is also a small bar with plenty of seating at the entrance of the hotel ,a good place to relax .The helios is close to the outdoor market (Wednesday & Sundays) and walking distance to amenities. It's a short stroll down to the beach and promenade and a 15 / 20 mins walk into old town .If you love to walk and see a little bit more than the bars and shops turn left as you get down to the beach front and head on up towards the end of the beach where you will see the scenic side of Levante, the lovely walking trails and small beaches and greenery & flowers .It's a must everytime we visit .Bonus too November weather was amazing ! As rooms aren't ready until the afternoon we were kindly given a key to a spare room so we could freshen up and get changed. Such a thoughtful gesture! Receptionist isabelle was also wonderfully accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel smells amazing everywhere and this continued throughout our 4 day stay Dining area-just wow!!! Breakfast outstanding and so many choices and all beautifully presented. They even offered glasses of champagne and prosecco in an ice bucket for anyone who fancied a little sparkle with breakfast. Honestly thr presentation of the food among the best ive seem. Spa experience Pure heaven! My husband and I had it all to ourselves. The calming music and serene atmosphere made it incredibly relaxing. The massage was fantastic and reasonably priced £30 for 30 minutes Our room Spacious spotless and overlooking benidorm market which is just around the corner. Market runs every weds and sunday and is a must visit if youre interested in good copies of bags/purses and footwear There isn't any tea or coffee facilities in the room but you can request a kettle free of charge at reception which is what we did. Food and drinks Proces very reasonable -cocktails around £7 and incredibly strong so you definitely get your moneys worth!! Pool area Pool and poolside bar were perfect a real suntrap and a great place to relax My husband and I have decided we wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting benidorm. Highly recommend!Show More

If I went again I would request a higher floor so that you get some kind of view. However it was great value for money.Show More
