arrived on sat 8th November for a week of the fiestas and the fancy dress. the check in was quick and cheerful with music and dancing. reception did a good job. we were on the first floor room 105 whi...arrived on sat 8th November for a week of the fiestas and the fancy dress. the check in was quick and cheerful with music and dancing. reception did a good job. we were on the first floor room 105 which was a bit of a disappointment as having booked a year before thought we would be on the poolside. wonder if you start at the lower floors and then work the way up with bookings at all? my daughter booked a few months later and was on floor 5.. ive booked already for next nov fiestas and would really like to be poolside because in November the sun really doesnt get around to the rooms overlooking the scooter park. apart from that, a lovely stay, lovely bar staff. happy hour always a bonus. good entertainment in the lounge and loved the bar attached to the side of the reception for our last drink before going to bed. the food is lovely, i dont care what anyone complains about. take no notice. i would esp like to point out and thank the guy on the restaurant door. Juan, he was so professional, always greated us with a smile. looked immaculate all the time. the room was adequate and the cleaner always knocked to see if we needed anything. nice and clean. tea coffee facilities and a hairdryer in the bathroom alongside Dove shampoo, body wash etc. as i say, we have already booked in for next November. well done Rio Park. we have no complaints. i would just say, dont take negative reviews as written. come and look for yourselves. thankyou. We chose this hotel, because one of our party had previously stayed here with her husband and the room they had was big, it had a separa...Three of us ( adults) booked a package holiday through easyjet. We chose this hotel, because one of our party had previously stayed here with her husband and the room they had was big, it had a separate area with an extra bed. Upon arrival we were allocated a very small room with two single beds and a flip down bed at the base of the other beds. It was a room you'd expect if you were given a free child space, not for three full paying adults. We felt we would be tripping over the person in that bed during the night. And no space for us three women to put our clothes or get ready. We decided to ask if they had any bigger rooms. We were surprised to find they actually had about half a dozen vacant rooms which were bigger. But they made us pay an extra €120 for 4 nights for one of them. We felt we should of been given this room in the first place really, and certainly not charged extra. The room we paid extra for was really nice, and had plenty space. The hotel was very clean, breakfast was good with plenty choice. Loads of sunbeds around the pool. And not a bad location to the centre. The receptionist who checked us in, was not very friendly. But the other staff we encountered were. Probably wouldn't return as felt we weren't treated very well with the room size, we should of been issued with the bigger room initially especially as there were several available.Show More

Some of it is nice, but, Please try and be different to all the other hotels and lay on a proper spread? If you are going to try and English breakfast, then do it right. Same with the evening meal. The British have been perfecting Curry's and chilli con carne for decades. Get a chef in to do things right, please. I'm afraid, you can say these things about most hotels. Not many listen. Such a shame!!!Show More
