First, my honest rating of this hotel is around 3.5, rather than 4. For me personally, I don't think this hotel deserves to get a 4, but a 3 seems a bit low, so I think 3.5 is adequate.

I chose this hotel because it was better for me to stay overnight at the airport before my connecting flight. Therefore, the biggest advantage of this hotel is the location. The location cannot be any better because it's right in the airport, so getting to any terminal from the hotel is very stress-free.
It was late afternoon--almost evening--when I got to the check-in and there were only two staffs working at the check-in area. One of them was for the Hilton Honors guests, so for the non-Honors guests like me, only one staff was taking care of the check-in process. Therefore, there was a line of people waiting to be checked in. Thankfully, there were only two people in front of me but I still waited about 10 or 15 minutes to be checked in because the person in front me took a lot of time.
Here, I'm NOT blaming the guest in front of me for taking long to be checked in, because I know it can happen to anyone. However, I couldn't understand why there was only one staff working at that time to help the check-in process, even though there were about five empty check-in stations. Not every station needs to be occupied by the staffs, but I think there should have been at least one or two more taking care of the check-in processes for non-Honors guests.
I don't know if this "shortage" of staffs was because it was late afternoon or not many guests normally stay in the hotel, but people behind me looked upset. I was also frustrated because I was very tired after my trip so wanted to get settled in ASAP and rest.
My room was fine, but the drainage at the bathtub was not just bad but miserable. Even though it wasn't a huge deal for me because I stayed for one short night, it would have been nice if I didn't have to turn the water off a few times during the shower to drain the water. I notified the front desk about this problem when I checked out, so hopefully it's fixed now.
The foods at the restaurant were ok, although I had to wait a bit to get seated and receive the menu for the dinner. There were not a lot of people at the restaurant at that time--It was a little before 8 pm--but the restaurant seemed to be a bit short-staffed as well.
Will I choose to stay at this hotel again if I have to catch a connecting flight the next day? Maybe, because the location is just too good. Hopefully, my future stay--if it ever happens again--is a pleasant one because it was not grand this time.
P.S. I could be wrong on this, but I didn't see many signs at the airport/Terminal 3 that clearly showed the direction of how to get to the hotel. There were signs here and there, but to me, the number of them seemed to be too few. I had to ask a person where the hotel was because I was somewhat lost. I wish there were more signs.Show More
