We were very disappointed with our recent stay at this hotel. At first glance, the room appeared surface-level clean, but once we began settling in, it was clear that it had not been properly cleaned ...We were very disappointed with our recent stay at this hotel. At first glance, the room appeared surface-level clean, but once we began settling in, it was clear that it had not been properly cleaned or sanitized. When wiping the floors with a cloth, it came up black, indicating a significant buildup of dirt. The linens also did not appear freshly laundered, and we discovered what looked like dried blood on a light switch.
We requested to switch rooms, and when inspecting the second room with hotel staff, we found similar issues. The sheets had stains, the couch was heavily soiled, and when we pulled out the hideaway bed, there were still dirty linens on it from a prior guest. At that point, we no longer felt comfortable staying, especially knowing that basic cleaning standards were not being followed. We arrived around 10 PM and ended up checking out by the next morning.
Additionally, there were maintenance concerns throughout the property. The elevator to the fourth floor was out of service, requiring guests to go up one floor and then back down, which was inconvenient and unsafe for those with luggage or mobility issues. The overall condition of the hotel common areas also reflected a lack of upkeep.
We also noticed that the in-room TVs are outdated and do not offer smart TV functions, which is something most hotels now provide. While not the main issue, it added to the overall impression that the hotel is not being properly maintained or modernized.
We travel frequently and have stayed at many Hyatt properties, and this experience was far below the standard we are familiar with. We will not return to this location and, unfortunately, this experience has made us hesitant to book with Hyatt in the future.Show More
