Less than 48 hours before our arrival at the hotel, we received a call infor...The hotel is lovely but we had a few hiccups before our arrival. I made our reservations nearly six months before our trip. Less than 48 hours before our arrival at the hotel, we received a call informing us that the room I had selected may not be what we wanted. She explained that we would be in a suite with a view of the trees, not the harbor. She continued that we could change to another room if we liked. Imagine my panic and disappointment! Things worked out (after a few calls), but I was ticked off that they didn’t inform us of the change until then. Nevertheless, The Inn at Laurel Point is a lovely hotel. On the water, it’s fun to watch the boats, ferries and seaplanes come and go. It’s close to many attractions and in a very busy area. The suite we stayed in was a good size, the view charming, but the bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was fabulous, but dinner at the hotel was not. We did not eat there again. Customer service after we arrived was good.Show More

The attention to making sure your experience is a great one carries from the lobby into all aspects of this beautiful hot...We have been staying here for many years. The stay improves with every visit. The attention to making sure your experience is a great one carries from the lobby into all aspects of this beautiful hotel in the heart of Victoria. Our maid service was exceptional, learning when we were in our room and having it ready after our breakfast walks each morning. Most room if not all have incredible views. We stayed in the Erikson Wing with a view of the inner harbor. You can walk everywhere from Laurel Point. Our adventures took us to Beacon Hill Park, the Provincial Museum, Government Street with pubs and shopping and walks along the ocean. Even though the weather was rainy we had pockets of sun. They supplied umbrellas just in case, which we used. This trip we added a few firsts by eating at local restaurants on the waterfront we had not been to before. This time of year is uncrowded and full of fall foliage!Show More
