I stayed at the Peridot Grand Luxury Hotel in Hanoi for 8 nights in October and had the most wonderful experience. This hotel is a tranquil Oasis in the midst of busy Hanoi Old Town. As you approach...I stayed at the Peridot Grand Luxury Hotel in Hanoi for 8 nights in October and had the most wonderful experience. This hotel is a tranquil Oasis in the midst of busy Hanoi Old Town. As you approach from the street you can only see the Hotel shop, to the left of the shop a little walkway leads you into the hotel which is behind the shop façade. Having stayed for 8 nights I was able to truly experience the hotel with all its facilities. Everything was just perfect, I cannot fault anything. I arrived quite exhausted from a long haul flight from Europe via Ho Chi Minh Cty but from the moment I stepped into the hotel I was very warmly welcomed by Guest Relation Officer Ms Kylie Kieu Anh. Her services in her role are outstanding, she is so kind, helpful and professional and truly understands how to look after her Guests. During my stay I got to know several Team members, Guest Relations Manager Mr Jason, Ms Nga, the Breakfast Restaurant Manager at “1968 Restaurant”, Marc and Juan at the “Olivine Restaurant” , Quen at the Infinity Bar, and Mr Minh who opens the door, calls the lift, takes care after your luggage with the most wonderful smile…a smile that can light up the whole world! I have had the privilege to have insightful chats with these kind people..and enjoyed it so much…what a sensational Team at Peridot Grand Luxury Hotel! I stayed in a spacious Grand Deluxe Room (28-32 sqm) which was beautifully appointed and with a very comfortable King Size bed. Bathroom features a large Bath Tub as well as a separate Rain Shower and all the amenities you expect in a luxury Hotel. The Spa features a Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi and there is also a Rooftop Infinity pool – I enjoyed the facilities immensely and had several Spa Treatments by Ms Vgn, every one of the treatments were exceptional. Massage Therapists and Spa Managers are very experienced and so kind. The Breakfast at Restaurant 1968 was extensive and a great start to the day. It features all items of your typical Western Breakfast – Sweet and Savoury, Salads, approximately 10 warm dishes which change daily, a Cooking Station offering Western and Vietnamese Breakfast dishes, daily Pho plus some Specials, Rice dishes, Spring Rolls, Rice Cakes….Delicious! My Gluten free Dietary requirements were met at any of the Hotel Restaurants. “Restaurant 1968” also serves Vietnamese Lunch and Dinner which I enjoyed a few times and was always very happy. “Olivine Restaurant” serves Western Cuisine with Vietnamese twist and ingredients, every meal I had there was delicious with my Favourite being the “Zesty Ocean Bisque” and the “Kale Avocado Salad”. In summary, Peridot Grand Luxury Hotel is a true gem…your holiday starts from the moment you step into the beautiful Lobby. My main intension was to relax and to “recharge my batteries” after some stressful months…I couldn’t have picked a better Hotel and hope to return one day. The kindness and professionalism of the Team leaves a lasting impression and made my stay in Hanoi perfect.Show More

We traveled as a family and even before we arrived, Kylie, their guest relations officer, got in touch to check we were ready for our trip and arranged a driv...We had a fantastic experience at Peridot. We traveled as a family and even before we arrived, Kylie, their guest relations officer, got in touch to check we were ready for our trip and arranged a driver to pick us up on arrival. Check in was easy and quick and we were brought to our room quickly. Kylie was easily contactable throughout our stay via WhatsApp. We only stayed two nights and on the first night, had an issue with the guests next door (we were given a deluxe room with a connecting room next to it), who scared our 21 month old with banging on the walls. We were quickly moved to another room the next morning. Due to the short duration of our stay, Kylie also recommended places to visit, including Train street and the scheduled times and local restaurants to try. She also suggested a private walking food tour which was worth it as we got to try local cuisine, that as tourists we probably wouldn’t have tried. It was a fantastic stay, the rooms are cosy and the amenities are great. Location was brilliant being in the centre of the Old Quarter but within a quieter street. The staff were so friendly and accommodating especially at breakfast. We would highly recommend it and would return if we came back to Hanoi.Show More

First of all, the hotel is exquisite - walking in to the lobby for the first time will transform you back to an era of elegance and opulence. The decor is a work of art in itself. Standing in the lobby, you feel like you are part of the painting. Secondly, the staff is super tentative to all your needs, making you feel like you are the most special guest at the hotel. The Guest Relations Officer, Kylie Kieu Anh, took care of us even before we arrived. She meticulously communicated with us days before to make sure our itinerary was organized with dinner reservations and tours which she arranged. While at the hotel, she checked on us constantly to make sure we had the best services. Finally, the location is prime - stepping outside you are immediately immersed in the old neighborhood charm of the Old Quarter including all the delicious street food you have always wanted to try. One can pretend to be like the late Anthony Bourdain doing the thing he was most happy with - sitting on a plastic chair in Vietnam eating street food. I can’t wait to return to this magical city and relive the experience at the Peridot Grand Luxury Hotel.Show More
