I had a magical time at the Silverman! As soon as I arrived, Enrique gave me a warm greeting & explained how to navigate the downtown area (before check in) yes they’re close to everything & helped us with our bags (just shows they’re really good people!). At check-in Niko & Victor were so kind and lovely!! They noticed that it was a special occasion for me & made the trip extra special for us! They checked in to see how we were doing every day & asked if we needed anything. The room was really big, clean, quiet & the bed was so comfortable! I’ll be staying here again & recommend them to anyone looking

8/10 The Silversmith was a beautiful building, spacious & clean, with awesome staff & great location!
Our room had two full beds and sofa-sleeper and I was pleasantly surprised that the sofa sleeper was in its own little room! It was very spacious and very clean!

My wife visited while taking care of her moms final arrangements at Northwestern hospital. The team and management were absolutely wonderful and took great care of her stay and I will forever grateful. 10/10 Silversmith Hotel stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Silversmith Hotel. The valet assisted with my parking needs and informed me of the traffic situation during the St. Patrick's day celebrations. The hotel staff was attentive to our needs and fulfilled any requests we had promptly. Highly recommend staying here

The rooms are great and the staff better. Premium linen, accommodation, and bar. Location is centrally located to a hist of attractions. Anthony, the assistant manager is awesome and treats customer very well. 11/10 service. Will stay again, thank you Silversmith!

Such an AMAZING stay!! Enrique, Victor and Niko made this an exceptional stay! I will definitely be coming back!!! It was my friend’s birthday and they helped me with a surprise for her and always greeted us with a smile! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

The front desk staff was nice, easy going and pleasant. I got a free room upgrade which was a huge plus except for none of the tvs had a signal so I basically had to watch my phone. Very clean and comfy I will return I got some much needed rest for sure

10/10 A beautiful, quiet, friendly, convenient, comfortable hotel for the family
I loved it here! It was the first time in Chicago for me & my family. I was very nervous about where to stay. I’m so glad that I chose Silversmith! The staff were so incredibly friendly & helpful. I was impressed by the security of the hotel. No one could enter, or even use the elevators without a card key. Having my children with me, that was a plus for my nerves! The location is perfect. Everything is so close & within walking distance. Even public transportation if you want to explore a little further. We had such a great trip, we’re already making plans to come back in the near future. We will be staying at the Silversmith again, of course!

Staff was nice and helpful, the reception area was cozy with Christmas decorations, the room was large, the toiletries were of a good, popular brand.

9/10 I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it.
It was a fun room with plenty of space and located to everything we wanted to experience.
The staff excelled in service and spent time with me in a problem I had with transportation. And really decent coffee in the room. Comfy bed, good linens and fluffy towels. Oh! And robes! Gotta love having a robe.

Staff was very accommodating and friendly. If anything the room had too much large furniture, taking up floor space. Bar area was warm and inviting.

Great location. Room and bathroom were good sized, updated, and very clean. Mattress was comfortable. Hotel has only 10 floors - very manageable. Front desk staff (especially Beverly) was incredibly friendly and helpful. Booking through Booking.com also covered the $25 per night historical district fee.

Everything was top notch. The safe didn't work but it was fixed the next morning. The hotel allowed me to receive packages from Amazon. The reception is very friendly. Location is great!

10/10 Amazing and thoughtful staff
The customer service at this hotel went above and beyond. I stopped by the front desk because the heel was falling off my shoe, and I was wondering if they had any glue. Lloyd, the night security guard, actually went to 7/11 for me and bought the glue, and then glued the heel back on for me. Less than two hours later he brought the fixed shoe right to my door. After about 12 hours of work that day, I was so relieved that he took care of that for me. That was beyond his job description and I so appreciate it. He was wonderful and I am so thankful to him. It was my second time staying here and I'll happily stay here every time I'm in Chicago in the future.

8/10 Convenient and comfy, but not historic
The location was great, with the train literally steps away. The bed was comfy, and the shower worked well. The room had a refrigerator and a decent couch.

Great location, one block off Michigan Avenue near Millennium Park. Quick 4-5 blocks from the river. The room was very roomy and nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed. Nice extra's such as Q-tips, cotton balls, water for each guest each day and vouchers for a beverage in the bar.

Location excellent definitely would stay here again. Especially if you are doing the Chicago marathon.
The train passes outside, but it never bothered my husband or myself.
Liked the additional free drink at the bar too.

A good sized room with a separate seating area and excellent soundproofing so that we couldn't hear the El right outside.

the room is really spacious with comfortable beds. The space is clean. Check-in very fast and smooth, friendly front desk staff. The bar at the lobby is also very cozy. Amenities are excellent. Close to cloud gate and other sights. Subway is right outside the hotel.

The front staff were very welcoming and friendly! The front house lady who worked nights with the long hair, aka the ice machine lady, was awesome. The house keeping was also very attentive and our room was clean.
Location is great for getting around and very central. Like a 5 minute walk to the blue line train.
