A day before arrival w...After carefully reviewing Hilton Hotels in downtown Chicago we settled for London House. This is where we chose to celebrate our 13th anniversary. It was the best decision made. A day before arrival we received an email that we were getting upgraded hotel room. What a delight. This amped up our excitement for the trip to Chicago. From the moment we arrived at the london house hotel the valet staff George Serrato quickly met us and helped with the luggage. Very kind and friendly gentleman. Our room was not ready therefore we were ushered to the lobby to wait. We did go downstairs for brunch at Land & Lake which was mouth watering good. Jhonny our server definitely made a huge impression with his exceptional customer service. Special thanks to valet staff Mark and George for helping with our luggage on our arrival. Both were outstanding in their service and interaction with us during our stay. Mark went the extra mile to offer us water when we come down for breakfast at the land & lake restaurant. Mary & Edward the concierge desk staff blew us away with the well thought out written card and a tray of strawberry covered chocolates for our anniversary. This was definitely a beautiful surprise to add color to our stay. The doorman who delivered the gift was pleasant as well. Forgot to ask his name but thankful all the same. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff who cleaned our room on check in. It was spotless, clean and the bed perfectly made. Truly thankful for their attention to detail on both days that we stayed. The upgrade was one for the books. Our corner room overlooked the Michigan river with beautiful breathtaking views On our second day we took some photos at the roof top at about 11am. The rooftop had beautiful views and that in itself was a treat of a lifetime. We will truly remember this visit for a lifetime. As world travellers we have been blessed to stay at some of the best hilton properties world over and have always enjoyed the class and experience that comes with this brand. Hilton London House is among our top hotels world over. My husband is a Chicago native and we will be sure to visit again in the future. Thankyou to all the staff who were also prompt in responding to requests made via chat messaging feature. Ashley who checked in on us as we waited on our room to be ready and kept us informed. Ricardo, Lorena and Ericka who were very responsive when we reached out with housekeeping requests during our stay. Was also thrilled that this gym had stairmaster equipment. Enjoyed my workout during my stay here. As we rolled our bags to the valet. George offered to help both my bags and offered me a water. Truly thankful for such great care and kindness. This hotel is very very lucky to have him as one of their best workers. Hilton London House is definitely in a class of its own. Labeled a 4 star hotel but truly exceeded that level of service. From the first email, Manny Aganon was phenomenal, clear pricing, options laid out simply and a seamless game plan. He even helped me coordinate a secret appearance by my fiancée’s mom, booked the reservation under her sister’s name for the perfect cover, and kept everything calm and on track when my nerves kicked in. Manny truly has this down to a science, an absolute rockstar! Manny also connected us with Lindsay DeGuzman Photography, and Lindsay and her partner were outstanding. They guided us through staging the moment, managed around the hot sun, and made sure we had time to soak it all in with family while capturing gorgeous photos. A thoughtful touch: they also snapped a few shots on our phones so we had images to share immediately while the professional photos were being edited. Both the phone pics and the final gallery were beautiful. After our Cupola time, Manny went above and beyond by finding us a spot on the rooftop while we waited for dinner, even accommodating a friend who stopped by to celebrate. Start to finish, we felt taken care of. If you’re on the fence about proposing here, do it. The Cupola is breathtaking, and the LondonHouse team (especially Manny) and Lindsay will make sure every detail is perfect. Couldn’t recommend more. Five stars all around.Show More

The location is unbeatable — right along the river with breathtaking views and just steps from the Magnificent Mile, making it easy to explore top restaurants, shops, and attractions on foot. The staff went above and beyond in every way. I was able to check in early after a red-eye flight (a total lifesaver!), and the bellhops were wonderful about storing my bags after checkout. The concierge team was equally impressive — they even sent me a small gift after a restaurant mix-up that wasn’t their fault. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and fully updated, perfectly blending modern luxury with comfort. My only small note: The rooftop bar can get quite busy with tourists, so for a more relaxed experience, go Monday–Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Special thanks to Hafiz (bellman) and Ricardo Ramirez at the front desk for their kindness and professionalism. Overall, LondonHouse is the ideal mix of location, style, and genuine hospitality — I can’t recommend it highly enough!Show More
