Location cannot be beat! The neighborhood was very safe & w/in walking distance to stores, restaurants, & landmarks like “The Bean”. Compared to other hotels nearby & size of the room it was a great value! The staff were very nice & professional, but down to earth. They answered all our questions & made suggestions for us. They held our luggage for us after we checked out & made sure all our belongings were safe while we maximized our last day! Also, we came in town for a concert & didn’t realize it was Saint Patrick’s Day weekend. There were lots of party goers in the streets, but security ensured that ppl were not coming in & out or causing trouble!

7/10 Great location but a few things slipped through the cracks on a busy weekend (Shamrock Shuffle).
Great location; Steve took great care of our early baggage drop and offered suggestions on local places to go throughout the weekend. Did like that everyone running the race (Shamrock Shuffle) got late checkout.

10/10 Hotel great--Restaurant -Poor
Everything was fine with the room. However, I did email the manager of your restaurant and that person never emailed me back. We called before heading into the city to find out from the restaurant staff how late they serve and how late the restaurant was open. They told us 10 and that the last orders could be put in at 9:30. Knowing this we did not stop to eat on the way. My daughter was running the 15k Hot Chocolate run and needed a pasta meal for her dinner. Anyhow we got checked into to our room immediately came to the restaurant it was 9:05 and they turned us away-the excuse was that they had such a busy day and were exhausted so they were not taking anymore people. UNEXCEPTABLE!!!!!!! We had to walk 10 blocks just to get to a decent restaurant that was still serving.

The room was amazing, huge, and it was like a small apartment, unfortunately, I was there for only one night so I was not able to enjoy it fully

8/10 Nice, quaint hotel, great location for conferncing in Chicago
Nice, charming quaint hotel. It has the glamor and glitz of downtown Chicago, but many of the facilities are a bit old (e.g. heating, hot water, etc), so you can expect sometimes issues with them. The price was reasonable given the location and the events going on in Chicago. I would recommend it for a short-term stay.

5/10 Overall clean room, friendly staff, good location. Building is old.
The location was perfect for our travels to a concert at the Auditorium Theater (directly across the street) and perfect walkability towards to heart of the city.

A nice hotel for unpretentious folk. This hotel has charm, character and history. Some beautiful interior spaces, but it's just a little rough around the edges. The staff is friendly and helpful. The field museum is walking distance through nice park spaces with cool statues. The art museum and Millennium Park is a short walk away. Grant Park is right out front. Reasonably priced.

The hotel was minutes from all of the shops and stores on Michigan Ave.. Didn't have to travel more than 15 minutes for any of the outtings we wanted to do. The room was very spacious with a great view.

The location was wonderful. Easily able to get to most of the things we were looking to do in the city. We had a great view from our room. The security guard and man who helped us with our luggage were very kind.

Good location, but paper thin walls that didn’t stop noise, refrigerator that froze things and request to have it changed out wasn’t done. Staff were friendly, but not very knowledgeable.

Only problem is beds are way too small. Full size for 2 adults isn't realistic. Not even queens. One queen & a full, or maybe 2 queens would have fit. Beautiful hotel. Great room service.
