The front desk manager was hostile and left me feeling like by sharing feedback I was in the wrong. While staying my fridge wasn't plugged in. I had our seafood dinners in a warm fridge for four hours. It wasn't safe to eat so I had to go to the resting purchase a second meal. So I'm out about 100 dollars. There was no attempt to resolve this, only telling me since the fridge wasn't eventually fixed, it was dealt with. Then when the fridge wasn't fixed it ran loud like something in a cheap motel. I had someone knock on my door in the middle of the night, and because they had no record of someone being dispatched it wasn't their fault either. I've stayed at other resorts more than willing to address loud noise and disruption because they want you to have a good experience. There is no desire to provide good service. It's motel style, you get what you get.Show More

I have never complained about a hotel/stay like this before...I have given the hotel adequate time to rectify this issue and they have not. Therefore I am moving forward with publicly posting my review. I have never complained about a hotel/stay like this before but I brought up the following concerns at check out and the staff member genuinely was shocked because of how horrid it was but all he said was "thanks for letting us know". I was at this hotel for less than 12 hours (arrived around 12am, checked out by 8am). -I went to have a shower after a long workday/flight/journey- conditioner that is afixed to the wall broke off immediately after I pressed down on the pump, the whole unit fell on my foot and it was genuinely sore for almost a week. -I went to close the shower curtain and you could tell that it has been reinforced but is falling from the wall -I went to brush my teeth and was confused because my slippers were wet and my legs- the sink was spraying/leaking dirty water onto my feet underneath.... -I went to go grab a complimentary water bottle and half of it was empty- this made me obviously concerned about cleanliness/turnover by staff as it was missed -went to plug in my phone and of course the outlet beside my bed it not working, as WELL as the lamp above the bed -The beds were extremely firm- had back pain for several days after which is not typical for Marriott as well. My husband said the same thing about his bed (since we had two double beds as no king was available I believe when booking or at check in) -There were several ants by the patio door. -The parking is literally so so far away and after a long day of travel this was not ideal- valet wasnt an option in case we needed to get into our cars. I more so just wish I was given a heads up that the parking is so far and basically at the other hotel. This obviously is a huge list, it wasn't just one small thing. I think the most disappointing thing was that there was no rectifying the issue or apology at the time. It's not like I was demanding, I was so nice to the man at the front. In fact, another guest overheard the conversation and stated that she "would have rioted if that was her experience," but I work in customer service and understand that sometimes things go wrong. I just wish that I got an apology, so when it had been two weeks and I hadn’t heard back from the hotel I sent the above review to Marriott. Finally the manager reached out and said they would issue 10,000 bonvoy points. Obviously this could be considered a nice gesture but this equates to about 80$ and my stay was 400$….I mentioned this and she basically said the best she can do it the points. I told her I would be posting a review because truly people need to know why they should not stay at this hotel. I’ve read other reviews that hint at the same thing and I wish I really listened to them. We are Marriott people… we even got married at a delta... but this was very very disappointing. That...Horrible experience as Marriott Titanium guest and management did not care. 1) Room cleanliness and Hygiene: a) My daughter found a bunch of hairs in the bedding when she slept in her sofa bed. That left her with a gross feeling. Given that was the first impression, we calmed her down and let the first night go. There were water stains on the coffee table which further added to the grossness feeling for our family. b) I was promised next day will be better housekeping. I walked out of the shower after returning on next day evening. The first towel I lift seemed like a cleaning rag with dirty brown stains on it. I am glad I did not let it touch my body before noticing (pic attached). THIS IS TERRIBLE and I don't believe the hotel paid any attention to cleanliness on the property. 2) Maintenance issues: a) Bathroom faucet slow - when we used master bath in the morning, the faucet was hardly flowing. It was very irritating to get the water flow and it made very difficult for us to get ready in the morning. I don't know why they would think something like this would be appropriate for a guest. I have attached the video. b) We complained and the faucet was fixed but my main bathroom latch was broken, this is never ending. My family could not take a peaceful, private bath and it was a very irritating experience for us. 3) Hair in the food - this was the final blow to our stay when our breakfast came with hair strands ... it sums everything up that this hotel does not care for hygiene at all. In the end, our experience was this was a big old, unmaintained resort which charged pricing per Westin brand but management did not care to take care of hygiene or guestsShow More
