I was in Clearwater Beach for a family member's wedding Thanksgiving weekend and several of us stayed at this hotel in separate rooms (not a room block) and I would say this hotel is mediocre. The sta...I was in Clearwater Beach for a family member's wedding Thanksgiving weekend and several of us stayed at this hotel in separate rooms (not a room block) and I would say this hotel is mediocre. The staff was friendly to me, especially the valet attendants. I think the location is good and the price tends to be cheaper since it's not on the water. The main lobby of the hotel is kept nice, but as another reviewer noted, when you go upstairs is when you notice the difference. My family and I were on the 7th and 8th floors. The hallway carpet was dirty and stained in several areas. The wallpaper in the rooms had white stains on them in all of our rooms, My room had dirt, dust, and someone's hair all over the place (gross). They definitely need to do a much better job of cleaning. Personally I would not stay here again.Show More

Everybody in the hotel was super friendly and the soup for helpful if they didn’t have name tag they introduce themselves I was alone without my wife and it’s easy to get bored. I eat dinner both nights at the bar and really enjoyed the experience. If I ever come back to Clearwater Beach, which I probably will. It’s an awesome place. I will come back to the AC one hotel for sure.Show More

Price was reasonable. The hotel did fall short on a few things. Showers had new seamless inserts in them but they left a moldy brown grout line at the base. Wasn’t just my room because 2 other people made the same comment about their showers. Had a towel in my shower with a big burr embedded in it. Complimentary water bottles were the small 6 oz bottles and water tasted old. Pool towels were small, thin and rough.Show More
