Residence Inn by Marriott in Clearwater Beach absolutely delivered the rest and luxury we were craving.
The room instantly impressed. Spacious, modern, and spotless with a beautiful bathroom that looked like it had come straight from a design magazine. The perfect haven after days of theme-park madness.
The location couldn’t be better. Step outside and you’re right in the heart of Clearwater Beach, which might genuinely be one of the most breathtaking beaches I’ve ever set foot on. Powder-soft sand, that shimmering gulf water, and sunsets that practically demand applause.
Morning began with a brilliant breakfast. Plenty of choice, fresh and tasty, exactly what you need before heading back to the pool… or heading back to Orlando in our case!
Speaking of the pool: a total highlight. Outdoor, spotless, and perfectly heated so it feels like dipping into a warm hug. The poolside beds were super comfortable too, making it very easy to slip into vacation mode. We even squeezed every minute out of our stay thanks to reception granting us an extra free hour for late check-out. Lovely touch.
There’s a large car park which is extremely handy but… the $38 per night parking fee is absolutely wild. That’s pretty much my only complaint, though it’s a common theme in popular beach destinations.
All in all, this stay gave us exactly what we hoped for: relaxation, comfort, and a stunning beach right on our doorstep. Our only regret is not staying longer. We’d love to return someday, spend more time exploring Clearwater Beach, and enjoy this fantastic hotel again.
