We’re impressed with the staff and amenities at this resort. We like the upgrades, and it is well-kept. There are several entrance doors, none of which are actually marked where Registration is. Th...We’re impressed with the staff and amenities at this resort. We like the upgrades, and it is well-kept. There are several entrance doors, none of which are actually marked where Registration is. There is a Registration sign with an arrow, but the doors closest to the Registration Desk need to be better marked (FYI: it’s the door farthest away from the street). The bed in our room was firm, probably because it’s new. The pillows are NOT firm—too mushy for us. The closet is THREE times the size of closets in other hotels. Space in the bathroom is tight because of the closet on the adjacent wall. The extra mirror and countertop is a plus, though it’s behind the open door. There are NO shelves for towels next to the shower; take down the artwork above the toilet and add shelves. For those who do not have the luxury of two shower heads in their home bathroom, It took awhile for us to figure out how to use them (FYI: the back lever switches between the overhead and hand-held). THANK YOU for providing a shuttle to the beach! We like this resort, and we will return!Show More

So we returned in 2025. Changes to the room was nice. Updated nice. However charging for parking is new. I was told it’s thru a third party. Why?? We never paid for parking if staying at hotel. You are paying for a room. It’s 25.00 a day. Terrible. Found out the Pool Cafe is being torn down. They have a food truck now. Not good. The Cafe was so nice for families to get a snack or ice cream etc. a nice place to sit and enjoy. The prices of the food truck also are high. Keep the Pool Cafe. It’s getting to commercial and anything to make money. Very sad. They painted the outside an ugly dark grey blue too. Doesn’t look beach at all. Also have a resort fee now too. On top of all the taxes. We loved the Sheraton and people there. Corporate really should think carefully before making these changes. Sad I don’t think we will be back after coming since 1988.Show More

Pool area was ok, no running water in the ladies toilets nor did we see the pool being cleaned at all, debris and some kind of scum/lotion build up in the water. Food was nice from the poolside snack bar/van reasonably priced. The hotel is a short drive from the main beach area in Clearwater that being said there is a free bus called the ‘Jolley Trolley’ for Sheraton guests. I wouldn’t come back to this hotel, would like to sample different ones closer to the main beach.Show More
