Ethan checked ...Took a first solo vacation trip with my toddler son. I have absolutely no words! The hotel is a bit older, however, its clean, comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Ethan checked us in and he gave a very quick but efficient run down about things. The restaurant Cabanas serves good food and my toddler ate! Which is a miracle. Prices are affordable. My son got breakfast vouchers, which was very appreciated. There are a lot of condominiums and hotels around, however, we hear nothing! Quiet, feels safe. There is a small market across the street, affordable. We took a trolley, which let me add is free if you are staying in the hotel, and it can take you pretty much anywhere where there are attractions. We took a trolley to Publix about 20 mins. Had to walk for about 5 mins of it. Was fantastic! Also, a feeling of safe is definitely there. The hotel has a private beach. Its so gorgeous! Rocks, white sand, so good for kids bc there are no waves and shallow. Pelicans, fishes, other marine animals and birds are there so its super fun for the little ones. Today we saw dolphins! The beach is clean! Mr. Mark takes care of the beach and its definitely looked after. He is very friendly and his military background certainly adds a level of security. Today we met Mel and she is just pricelss. She continuously walked around and cleaned up the beach. She had shell painting for the little ones. Came over and gave us a huge Lowe's bucket for my son to make a sand slide with his toy shark. Also, offered a kite which is great! (We brought our own). Thank you for being very friendly.
You do have to pay for the beach loungers (I get it but of course its a first for me when it comes to a resort travel). There is a very pleasant woman Ashley. She is a beach attendent/server. Very nice and not over bearing. She makes herself visible, in the case you need to order, however it is not interrupting anything. Another young girl that we saw today. Was attentive and very polite.
