The front desk receptionist was friendly and polite. the room was clean, AC workin...Upon arrival we were welcomed to the Drury Plaza. We were checked in to our rooms in a quick and efficient manner. The front desk receptionist was friendly and polite. the room was clean, AC working great and the beds were nice & comfortable. The pool & hot tub was nice, clean and relaxing. The free happy hour was outstanding. There was a nice assortment of items to choose from. There was bbq sliders, pasta, salad options, hot dogs, beans, chips, queso, soda machine, fruit, popcorn machine with hot popcorn available. Each night there was different options for the free happy hour buffet. There was a bartender and you are allowed three alcoholic drinks. The bartender was friendly and helped in a timely manner. The breakfast buffet had pancakes, sausage, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, potatoes, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, white & wheat bread for toast, english muffins, numerous pastries to choose from, soda machine, hot & cold milk, coffee and juices. There was fresh hot popcorn and the soda machine was on during the afternoon which the kids loved. If you are ever in the San Antonio area you should definately stay at this Drury Plaza hotel. The room we had was great and we had a living room with a pull out sofa bed, refrigerator, microwave, table, bedroom with a door on the fifth floor. It was very convenient for going to the pool as it was on our floor as well. There is not much outside parking although they have their own parking garage that you can only access with a room key card. My family and I felt very safe at this hotel.Show More
