Two issues: 1. Booked Lake view room but was given a room with a view of a whole apartment block right in front of the window. Called the front desk, they agreed to change my room. Called the front desk, they agreed to change my room. That's not acceptable 2. It is stated that Hilton Gold member has daily 10USD credit, but at the time of checkout in the morning, they lady charged my room expenses without taking the 10USD daily credit into account. Fortunately, my flight was a midnight flight and I manage to go back to the front desk at 7pm and clarified. They agreed to credit the extras that they have charged So these two issues have reflected the lack of integrity of this hotel. Another tip for travelers. This hotel's breakfast included rate only give you a 25 dollars voucher to be used in their only restaurant. So you have to pay extra if you order more than 25 USD. My advice is, if the breakfast inclusive rate is less than 25USD, could still worth a try. But never if the breakfast inclusive rate is more than 25USD than the standard room rate. Breakfast was also average. Chilled orange juice, burger was so So. Waffle was average. You get better breakfast next door at Hamptons. Yes, I visited my friends Hampton. Well, I still give 2 stars. Because of the location, it's great. Only if you have conference at the McCormick Place. For tourists, better stay in the downtown.Show More
