The bed is very comfortable. The we problem with this property is the lack of real amenities to justify the price of the room and the surprise extra amenity fee. The pool had no pool towels in the ...The bed is very comfortable. The we problem with this property is the lack of real amenities to justify the price of the room and the surprise extra amenity fee. The pool had no pool towels in the cabana area. We were swimming for quite a while snd no one brought any to refresh the shelves. I asked the person working at the pool bar and she simply said “they’re over there.” Never offered to make a phone call to tell them the pool area was out of towels. We were wet and had to go into the main door of the hotel to ask for a pool towel. The guy working simply grabbed a few bar towels. The hand towel size!! Never attempted to solve the problem either. Sure it’s a petty detail but a RESORT with not enough pool towels and two different employees who didn’t aféele it was their job to help is just a motel 6 with a better bed. Now let’s talk about the tv. They only have streaming options that require you enter your own code. Very low brow. Not the type of thing you’d expect at a “resort.” One last thing to prepare yourself for— this place really really leans in to the “Texas country” vibe. Country music is playing in every corner of this place. Lobby, restaurant, pool. Everywhere. And it’s the modern cheesy country, not good legit country. It really is playing everywhere. We were placed in the wrong room for the first night of our stay and had to bring our luggage back down the next morning so we could wait t...Our reservation was “messed up” according to the front desk. We were placed in the wrong room for the first night of our stay and had to bring our luggage back down the next morning so we could wait to be put in the correct room. When we arrived back at the hotel around 4pm, we were given a key to our new room which was still being cleaned when we got up there. We had to take all of our luggage back down to the lobby again and wait for the room to finish being cleaned. To compensate for this, our parking fees were comped for the duration of our stay. However, an item did go missing from our room while we were out for the day, and when I called the front desk to inform them, they said the housekeeping manager would call me back. They never did. There was also one day we placed the “service please” side out on the door hanger, and when we got back to our room all of the dirty towels were still on the bathroom floor and the room had not been touched. I would say the best part of our stay was when we dined in the hotel restaurant. The servers in the restaurant were spectacular. Especially Hilary. She was amazing!Show More

Loved the pools, games in the courtyard, and the fact that they had things available to make things fun for our kids. The outside bar wasn't open during our stay, so can't speak on that. The restaurant was decent, they could work on a few things...but they have a little bit of everything and the ingredients were fresh. It also made for a nice option if you didn't want to fight traffic and construction around the area. Our room was great and layout was really nice. The wet bar was a great addition, and I liked the separate lounging area from the bedroom. Another plus was the bathroom. The separate tub and shower was awesome!! Sea World is 5 minutes away, which was a big selling point considering we were in town for that reason. There are also a lot of options nearby for dining, coffee, grocery stores, shopping, and entertainment options. Show More

I like that this location is right off the highway, close to the suburban amenities, and its noise level is quiet. They have one of the more spacious gyms for a hotel and the workout equipment is pretty nice. The room turn over service is nice and the rooms/building have always been clean. Majority of the time they empty my coffee pod out of the machine and it’s such a small thing, but it makes me happy in the mornings. The hotel restaurant is also really good. I’ve had a few meals there and haven’t been disappointed. I also really like they have on site laundry. It’s self service so you can do it when it’s convenient for you. They offer detergent in the hotel store. There are a couple of machines that take coins and a couple that take card. The cards do have a service fee though.Show More
