The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and check-in was seamless. The rooms were clean, well presented, and thoughtfully equipped with extras such as a hairdryer, toiletries, iron, and ironing board. The pool area and hot tub were fantastic — the photos online really don’t do them justice. The restaurant staff were also exceptionally friendly, and the service was great.Show More

After visiting the HM Awards in Sydney on Friday night and I needed a short weekend stay not too far away from the airport. With a choice between Gosford, Manly and Macquarie Park, I decided to visit Holiday Inn Paramatta. Definitely a great choice. I was welcomed by Jordon, a very friendly colleague who seamlessly checked me in and filled me in with the necessary information. A generous late checkout was added that helped me rest after a tiring week. The room was exceptional, a beautiful suite on the 6th floor. All newly renovated and massive. I enjoyed every bit of it relaxing and watching Netflix. Great thought on USB ports and the wireless charging. I had forgotten my charger in Melbourne. I definitely recommend the location with Harris Park- Wingram road (all the Indian restaurants and shopping) known as Little India, Westfield Paramatta, public transport, St Patrick’s Cathedral all within a few minutes of walking distance. I enjoyed a lovely walk and mostly rested. The icing to the cake was Irene who was equally friendly and chatty and handed over a delicious coffee while I left to Melbourne. Anurag, you certainly have a great team and a great property. Thank you for the amazing service and hospitality. Will certainly be back!Show More

Lovely staff, prompt room service, and easy check in and check out. I could use my personal Netflix and Apple TV accounts on the smart TV, and for once it was actually easy. Towels smallish but really soft, and plenty of them. Green options for re-using. The bathroom had a safety mat for the shower bath and some grab rails - GREAT. The taps were old schoo,l and so it was really easy to get the water temperature right. Lovely quiet location for the middle of the city - being in a quiet street just off the main street makes a huge difference. It's easy to walk to and from the railway station, but the shortest route is a bit trickier (via Wentworth St). But if you do it once, you will remember it. It's an older building but it's been well maintained and there are ongoing renovations.Show More

We arrived at the hotel at around 4 p.m., check-in is from 2 p.m. We were told by a new employee (trainee) that our room wasn't ready yet. Then, after an older employee, who appeared to be supervising the trainee, intervened, we were strangely given a room immediately. However, it was a standard room and not the premium room we had booked. And we weren't even told this. After complaining about it, we were then told that all premium rooms were fully booked. We didn't even get a refund. We will definitely not be coming back and cannot recommend a hotel like this, where the organization seems to have real problems and you are also lied to.Show More
