We were in Chicago for a family event, so we decided to stay at the Hyatt Centric Loop to be close to attractions downtown. The location is good, very close to bus lines and an easy walk to the river....We were in Chicago for a family event, so we decided to stay at the Hyatt Centric Loop to be close to attractions downtown. The location is good, very close to bus lines and an easy walk to the river. We had a corner room (Deluxe Queen) so the room was very spacious for a city hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, though it showed a little wear and tear from use (i.e., baseboards had been bumped into, etc.). The bathroom was large (the shower was quite large and there was a very large bathtub, which was unexpected), but it was laid out in a way that didn't maximize the space, though it worked well-enough for a family of three. The hotel seemed to not stock very many towels or washcloths in the room, so we had to ask for more but they came quickly after a call to the front desk. All the staff we interacted with were very nice. There is a lounge that stocks some snacks and coffee/tea which was nice to hang out in at night. Although it did not bother us, you can hear a lot of street noise in the hotel room, so if you are sensitive you might ask for a room facing away from the street. Restaurant in hotel was delicious but I had called ahead of time and was told the rooftop would be open and it wasn’t which was the main reason I booked this hotel however it was still a good place to stay and rooftop or not I loved it. Parking is too pricey at hotel but you can park a block or two away for a fraction of the cost so it wasn’t a big deal to me. I had a young child with me and I would say it was very good for him and the staff was always so nice to him. Safe location to be in and I felt very comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!Show More

I love how this is in the heart of downtown. The front desk was very nice and patient with me I never had to keep calling to get items I needed for my room.
