Walked from Mercure to Central Embassy and b...Great Hotel. Atmosphere very good. Waking up by day not to busy. Ready to walk around to enjoy the area. Everything nearby, 7 eleven, bars and restaurants. Walked from Mercure to Central Embassy and back to the night market. Coming back in the evening music and lights on, street busy. Ready to go out if you want. Want to see more get on one of the railway stations or metro at Sukhumvit. Visiting the Grand Palace you go to Sanam Chai station or get out at Sam Yot for Khao San Road. Walk or take Tuk Tuk. More comfort after long day just take taxi. Mercure staff from entrance to reception friendly and helpful. Big and clean rooms. Friendly housekeeping. Nice pool with enough beds. On my last day asked for a taxi to BKK. The route by taxi you almost avoid the chaotic traffic between Mercure Sukhumvit 11 and BKK. I am looking forward to come back next time. Thank you for this great experience.Show More

Location is perfect, although it's a busy street. You have everything around, short walking distance to BTS station, Terminal 21 Asok, 7 eleven, food outlets, ATM, massage centers, supermarket, pharmacy. The room is quite big, clean, breakfast just okay. All amenities are there inclusive ironing board. The staffs are friendly, helpful and accomodating. They even gave my daughter a piece of cake in her room for her birthday as a surprise! The concierges are knowledgeable (especially Adison). They pointed us a good direction for a night market closed by. Adison helped us a lot. He's friendly, speak good English, honest and helpful. He helped us with taxis, booking for floating market etc. Thank you Adison, we had a good time in Bangkok!Show More

We were even gifted a free cake for our baby's birthday! Room was clean, make-up service fantastic, and the overall experience was wonderful. The only downside is the location, which is in the middle of a rather sleazy spot where every night you'll have ladies dressed scantily waiting for "business" outside our hotel lobby. Solely because of that, maybe it's not the best hotel for families with small children. But otherwise the overall experience was amazing!Show More
