This is day 3 of 4 we are staying here with two rooms as luxury category and club millesme access brought ( not upgraded one but paid for ) I have stayed twice last year in this hotel and I have a s...This is day 3 of 4 we are staying here with two rooms as luxury category and club millesme access brought ( not upgraded one but paid for ) I have stayed twice last year in this hotel and I have a slightly different opinion from my last review. The checkin was interesting. I have two rooms booked and all of us have the same names. I don’t take extra beds for my kids and generally tend to splurge on two rooms now that they have grown however while booking I specified I need rooms next to each other or near each other but when I was checking in they informed me the rooms were on different floors which is strange. When I said no not acceptable the checkin people looked surprised and I looked surprised myself. To cut the long story short it was sorted in about 30 minutes. However the rooms were far from each other and that was a bit of hassle but was fine. Of course like last time despite being a high status on Accor we were offered no upgrades or anything. This property for the third time now offers nothing extra.l in my case and cannot comment on others. I’ll begin with pros and cons. Pros The staff in the lounge is excellent. Special mention to Mariela and Nok. They are brilliant. The food is very good here in the evening cocktail time. Bed is very comfortable and sleep quality is good. The lady at checkin Khaow is super and she is very chatty. Breakfast Jules als very polite. I gave an extra star just for the people mentioned here. Location is excellent. Cons. The breakfast is now surprisingly very average and service is pretty poor. It’s delayed. The people serving in general are tired and uninterested. If you ask them for coffee in my case all three days in a row now the coffee is taken out of the machine in a rush. Have a look at the picture. Tastes average and presentation is horrible. Also takes fifteen minutes to get to your table. Breakfast in the lounge is no good either. Ala carte menu fancy but the steak and eggs pathetic. They have paper tissues at breakfast in the bellasera. That says and sums it all !! I pointed this out to the very polite Jules and she acknowledged and of course would convey this. Room service is average. We had a small plate of fruit and nuts that have not been changed or topped up in all four days. I saw them keep desert in other rooms next to us all days and once I even jokingly asked them why does it take to get these little treats. The classic I don’t understand English or what you said smile and I did jot bother completing my conversation or question. The banging of the exit door just out side my room was annoying at five thirty in the morning and the doorbells and sound insulation from guests next door was absolutely horrendous. Now the rooms are slightly tired and I can understand from the back to back guests coming in and going it tends to show wear. However I stayed at another hotel last year alongside this one same like now and the quality of hotel and room and service was absolutely phenomenal. All in all a great hotel but the lack of anyone coming and asking a returning guest for there feedback or in general a letter in the room or some sort of extra but really put me off. Travelling to so many hotels and cities around the world I put in some serious mileage in travel and honestly I just expected a lot more from this one but I remain a bit disappointed. Once again it’s just constructive criticism from a traveller returning to a hotel third time. I am having a comfortable stay and I have no major negatives but I can see some much better options in the city for the money they charge in general. We have stayed in many 5-star hotels globally and this particular hotel...The hotel came highly recommended from family friends who had previously stayed here so we decided to check in here for 9 days! We have stayed in many 5-star hotels globally and this particular hotel is definitely in the top three. Situated in the heart of Sukhumvit road, the hotel is close to Asok (also Sukhumvit MRT station) and Nana BTS stations. From floor three of the hotel, you can access the overpass which leads you to not only the Asok BTS, but the Terminal 21 mall. This is super convenient if you need to do some shopping. In addition we found that the "Super Rich" money changer (which is located near the entrance of Asok BTS) provides the most competitive rates for currency exchange. Our hotel room was absolutely stunning and was designed with practicality in mind. Spacious with two large windows which leads onto the Bangkok skyline. The bathroom was fitted with a bathtub as well as a shower, with a marble interior. The room has plenty of storage space and amenities are plentiful. The staff are friendly and will always go an extra mile to help and resolve any issues quickly. There are four great restaurants in the hotel, which I urge you to visit: 1. Le Macaron; in the lobby and provides pastries as well as sandwiches, pizzas and Thai dishes 2.Maison Mizuki; Japanese sushi restaurant situated in the lobby. Really good Japanese food. This was actually our favourite of the four. 3. Bella Sera; situated on the second floor where the break buffet is held but you can also have lunch and dinner there. Great Italian food! 4. Belga; Belgium/French brasserie on the 32nd rooftop floor. Great for watching the Bangkok skyline come alive, during sunset, whilst having a drink or even dinner. They have a great selection of yummy dishes. My favourite dishes were their signature Belga (lamb) burger and truffle fries. The pool area is very relaxing and you should pay this a visit if you are on the lucky side of the weather. Also the gym is well kitted out and there is an abundance of towels and refreshments. Like I said above, this hotel is excellent and one of the best I have stayed in. If you want to be in the heart of Bangkok, not too far from the night life and action, and have great MRT/BTS access with several malls around, this is your place! We are looking forward to coming back when we come to Bangkok!Show More

This is a bit long overdue.. but I promised to write a review given I had a really great experience staying here and am very appreciative of the hotel staff. First of all, the rooms look very elegant...This is a bit long overdue.. but I promised to write a review given I had a really great experience staying here and am very appreciative of the hotel staff. First of all, the rooms look very elegantly designed, spacious, clean, and almost all of the room settings can be operated in the bedside tablet. My room in particular experienced some issues with the toilet (while I was out) and they left a note to let me know as soon as I return they will arrange me to move into an upgraded room. It was actually quite late when I returned but the hotel staff still assisted me into moving into another room on a higher floor (although frankly speaking the room wasn't too much of an upgrade except of the higher level). They continuously left me notes to apologize and small gifts (e.g. fruit platter). Location is super convenient, especially their access to the BTS sky path which connects directly to Asok BTS station. Especially when it was raining, the entire path is covered and don't require you to carry around an umbrella. Most importantly I want to highlight on their customer service. While I was checking out, I accidentally left my iPad (inside a cotton bag) on the lobby sofa and has already left for the airport. While I was checking in at the counter I panicked after realizing that I have left behind my iPad. I called the hotel immediately and at first they weren't able to find it. However, one of the managers (K'Pai) and hotel staff (Ms. Sara) continued looking and they finally found it. They let me know immediately to ease my worries and provided very clear instructions on how to retrieve it. This is definitely one of the top examples of receiving excellent customer service and I really wanted to share my experience for any guests considering to stay at Sofitel hotel (also hoping management can see this and receive my sincere gratitude). I will certainly stay here again, hopefully sooner rather than later!Show More

It truly feels like coming home. I must express my admiration for the entire team at Club Millésime on the 31st floor. I can confidently say that this is the best Executive Lounge experience I have ever had. The service here is consistently outstanding. Khun Gift: It is always a pleasure to see her. She remembered me warmly and greeted me with her beautiful smile. I greatly appreciate her assistance with my room inquiry. Khun Mild: handled my check-in smoothly and consistently followed up throughout my stay to ensure everything was perfect. Khun Mira: my impression started with our email correspondence regarding the invoice, which was handled efficiently and thoroughly. Meeting her in person at the Club, where she greeted me with a warm smile, only elevated that positive impression. Khun Gigi : she is stunning and has a great memory for guests. I loved the pink Signature Cocktail she created for me during Cocktail Time. The Team: I also want to commend Khun Darren, Khun Tide, Khun Nok, Khun Henrry, Khun Kaning, and Khun Crispy. Everyone demonstrated true professionalism on the 31st floor. Overall, a special thank you to Khun Macky for overseeing the big picture of my stay.
