We fell in love with the Viceroy Chicago the moment we toured - The property has a beautiful art deco design aesthetic, large terrace for an outdoor ceremony and reception, and they offer a complete food and beverage package. Over the last year, we had a wonderful experience planning our wedding weekend with Emily working through all of the details. The Viceroy team was responsive, professional, and worked with our third party vendors to bring our wedding to life. We had personalized attention throughout the entire planning process - No question, detail, or request went unanswered. And on the day of the wedding, Emily and the banquet director Randy were on site to make sure our day ran smoothly and to schedule with no hiccups! Feedback from our guests was positive with comments on the beautiful spaces, terrace, and of course the food and drinks. We held our day after brunch at Pandan and had a great experience there as well. The team used our flowers to decorate the tables and they roped off a section of the rooftop terrace for our guests. This was the perfect casual and relaxed brunch space to close out our weekend. Overall, we would absolutely recommend the Viceroy Chicago for a wedding. We hosted our wedding here earlier this month and from our first consultation meeting with Dulce through wedding weekend, it was a seamless, elegant, and fun process. The entire Viceroy team (Dulce, Randy, and Anna to name a few) welcomed us with open arms and helped us create the absolute best wedding weekend for us, our families, and our friends. Our bridal suite was spacious with amazing Gold Coast views and access to the very best parts of the city right from our doorstep, we were greeted with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, any need we had was quickly addressed, and our family and friends were treated as special guests their entire stay. Thank you to Anna and her team for making it all possible! As for our wedding itself, Dulce, Randy, and the entire event team made sure it was an amazing night we will never forget. Dulce was thorough, patient, and experienced - she walked us through the months of planning with ease and brought our dream wedding reception to life. The setting, drinks, food, cake, hospitality, and experience truly cannot be beat. All of the spaces we used in the hotel were gorgeous and the team there could not have been more helpful, kind, and accommodating. Emily Macks, the catering sales manager, was in constant communication with us so that no detail was overlooked. She accommodated all of our preferences and requests to ensure that we, our vendors, and all of our guests were well taken care of. Randy and Kendall, the director of banquets and banquet manager respectively, were also a pleasure to work with. They both worked so hard to ensure the wedding flowed smoothly—from assisting with set up/clean up to checking in with my husband and I at our sweetheart table to ensure we had everything we needed. And that doesn’t even include all the behind the scenes work that surely went into making our wedding such a perfect day. Finally, I wanted to add that all of the staff (bartenders, servers, bellboys, front desk) were wonderful. Thank you to the whole Viceroy Chicago team — we cannot recommend the hotel enough as a wedding venue, event space, and place to stay.Show More

After long days working with doctors and being on the go nonstop, we would genuinely look forward to returning to the hotel each evening just to unwind at the bar—and that was entirely because of her. From the very first day, Jess not only remembered our drink orders but even our room number, which made every interaction feel personal and welcoming. Her attention to detail, kindness, and the way she made us feel at home set a tone that elevated our stay beyond expectations. She strikes the perfect balance of being warm, attentive, and professional, all while creating a space where guests can really relax. Some bartenders simply make drinks—Jess creates an experience. Coming back to debrief over a cocktail became one of our favorite parts of the trip, and it’s all thanks to her exceptional care and hospitality.
