Valet service was super friendly and helpful. Front desk staff were warm and friendly, everyone working to make sure my stay was amazing. Which it was!!! Location within a couple minutes walking to get to Jackson Square, definitely close to all kinds of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to be within a few minutes. I stayed Halloween weekend, so there were lots of people visiting at the same time and I never felt unsafe, and even though my room was directly facing Bourbon Street and across from a bar, while I could hear music and people having fun at night when in my room, it was muffled enough that it didn’t bother me at all. I did not enjoy the on-site restaurant for breakfast (I preferred to indulge in the options from Cafe Beignet on Royal St.), but I did enjoy the live jazz music and a couple cocktails in the Bourbon ‘O Bar. I also did not partake in the heated pool, but I did check out the courtyard at least, and it was gorgeous. Definitely a great place to relax and enjoy the warm sun and outside breeze. Even at night it was lit up and truly a beautiful space. The lounge area in the lobby is huge with plenty of comfortable seating — nice and inviting spaces to just sit and relax. My room was spacious, the king bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the in-room refrigerator was perfect to keep my waters cold (2 water bottles even in my room upon arrival). I’m used to coffee and tea being offered, but the waters were a pleasant surprise. All the staff I encountered during my 5-day stay — from the valet, to the greeters, to the front desk staff, to the bartenders, to the housekeeping — were all extremely friendly!! We di...Stayed four nights. Three adults. Cost was approx. $450 per night. Upon check in was charged an additional, not an option, of $25 per night for WiFi, two bottles of water and Keurig coffee. We didn’t know that until we were there checking in. A one time $20 bar voucher. A drink averaged $15. Order a second you have to pay $10 more out of pocket…OR have it added to your room bill. Only order one drink, you lose the balance. Overall cost of room rose to approx. $650 per day including taxes. The room. One luggage rack. No place to put luggage for three. Used floor. Asked two days in a row to get another. None brought. No desk, no table, no counter space, Well, actually 8” along front of TV. A little space behind the TV to set your water. No chairs. Only two stools that resembled tree stumps or mushrooms with no backs. Had to sit on one and put computer on bottom of bed. It was hot and humid outside, unfortunately room A/C preset to 74*. Evenings it dropped to 72* and couldn’t adjust. Yet all hallways and lobby areas were well air conditioned. I sat down in the lobby to cool off waiting for family. No microwave. Room not swept or vacuumed. Tiny refrigerator set to barely cool. Shower, low pressure and luke warm. Complained to front desk, they said they recently went GREEN…I bit my tongue…! Employees were great, location was great but it ended there. We stayed there about ten years ago and raved about it. We considered leaving after the first night, but we didn’t. Now, we’ll never return and definitely NOT recommend!Show More

Upon checking in, the room air conditioning and the refrigerator did not work. After 1 call and 2 subsequent trips to the front desk, they finally sent an engineer to fix the air conditioning and he replaced the refrigerator (after over an hour waiting and going up and down the elevator to get some attention from the front desk and the manager of the day). Woke up to a refrigerator not working, threw away the food items that we had put in it the night before. The floor lamp also did not work...I finally found that the electrical wall outlet was no good....reason for refrigerator and lamp not working properly. I gave up...decided it wasn't worth the continued frustration. Forgot too mention, no lighting in the shower...had to use my phone 'flashlight' to see which provided bath items were shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. For the price of this hotel, which was much more than others of way better value in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Miami, and other places we have stayed...this place is not worth it and I wouldn't recommend it to an enemy!!!Show More

Me three times in a row after hearing me question. I thought that was weird. I had to ask for her name first the fourth time I called to engage her. I thought that was weird. But she told me she would have to look into it. Then she never got back to me in our 5 day stay. I did ask another personnel and did not get much either. They also did not tell me there was an extra destination charge at the hotel of $25/ day. I found out when I was checking out. One night I was smelling smoke in the air the entire night. Then in the morning around 6 a very loud cart rolling up the hall way got into the room next door. People went up the metal stairs very loudly and started drilling. This went on for about an hour and stopped around 7:30-8 am. Overall, it was an average stay because the location was great.Show More
