The hotel’s location was absolutely perfec...Our family stayed at the NOPSI Hotel in New Orleans for four nights and three days during the Thanksgiving holiday to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The hotel’s location was absolutely perfect for us—close to the French Quarter yet situated in a quiet area, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The champagne sent by Lyana at the front desk was a wonderful and thoughtful gesture. It helped us unwind from our travels and made our anniversary celebration even more special. In the lobby, Robert delighted our family every morning at breakfast with his playful magic tricks. His cheerful gestures and warm, friendly smile will stay with us for a long time. At checkout, the front desk staff member—unfortunately, I do not recall his name—left a lasting impression on us with his genuine kindness and heartfelt smile. Even in the final moments of our stay, he made us want to return again in the future. I would also like to express my gratitude to the woman who appeared to be a manager. The smile she shared with us when we met her in the morning is a little secret known only to her and our family 🤭 Lastly, I would like to sincerely thank all the staff members, including those who visited our room for room service, for sharing their kindness and smiles with us throughout our stay.Show More

The hotel’s location is perfect, right in downtown New Orleans and within walking distance to major attractions, restaurants, and entertainment spots. The building itself is beautifully designed, with a unique history as a former utility company, hence the name NOPSI (New Orleans Public Service, Inc.). The mix of historic charm and modern style makes it truly special. The lobby is elegant and welcoming, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond; attentive, friendly, and respectful throughout our stay. A special thank-you to Tara Lewis, the Catering Sales Manager who arranged a thoughtful surprise gift for the birthday honoree. She was delighted, and it made the occasion even more memorable. We also enjoyed spending time at the rooftop bar, which had a great atmosphere and fun vibes. Our entire group booked several rooms and everyone was happy with the hotel selected. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting New Orleans — whether for a special occasion or just to enjoy the city, this place is fantastic!Show More

This is a beautiful hotel- the lobby is gracious and stately and the suite rooms are beautifully appointed with spacious luxurious bathrooms and living areas. Sean was very helpful with recommendation...This is a beautiful hotel- the lobby is gracious and stately and the suite rooms are beautifully appointed with spacious luxurious bathrooms and living areas. Sean was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and help with check ins and check outs . His friendly demeanor at the front desk helped to take the edge off of a very long flight to get there. I also want to especially thank Lauren in group sales who helped me to navigate changes to our initial reservation at the hotel. Without her help and kind manner I do think we would have had no choice but to choose a different hotel. The reason for this is because once I made my initial reservation I could not thereafter get a live person on the phone. The regular telephone number looped me back continuously to the main menu with no place to even leave a message. When I did get a department ( accounting ) and left a message - I did not get a call back. In my opinion this hotel needs serious help with its' communications and telephone systems and backroom help. Once I was there, however, it was a pleasant experience and most employees including waitstaff in the restaurant were very nice.Show More

First off, everyone we encountered were great, but Drex & Richard (Mr. Rich) stoodout as they were VERY friendly and helpful. Drex was always had a smile and personable. Mr. Rich and his jokes will keep you on your toes. Mr. Rich was kind enough to assist us with showing a map of the Bayou parade to find the best spot to watch it and personally assisted with ordering us a car on the spot when we told him we were checking out and headed to the airport. The bartenders downstairs and at the rooftop bar made decent drinks, rooftop bar was only open from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. If the service wasn't so amazing woulda given it 4 stars because the bed and pillows weren't that comfortable, but the spacious stand alone shower and water pressure were great. TV didn't have access to use streaming services, but had access to local channels and HBO max. Uber and Lyft were affordable even during a holiday and major event, you can get by without a car if you are okay with walking. Overall, hotel was great for the price and proximity to walking distance for everywhere especially along Canal, Poydras, Barronne, etc.Show More
