We had such a beautiful time at this eclectic, niche, boutique hotel. The service was spectacular, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the food was delicious. Parking was only $35 a night per car, other hotels were charging me $75 a night. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel. I cannot wait to go back!Show More

For those familiar with Austin who want to avoid the bustle of downtown, it's the perfect home away from home. Incredible hiking trails are right next door, and there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Above all, the staff is delightful—warm, friendly, and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The rooms are comfortable, featuring full blackout doors for a restful night. The retail area offers a great selection, making it hard to leave. Carpenter Hall, the on-site restaurant, serves exactly the kind of delicious food you crave after a long journey or a busy day. Beth-Ann at the bar goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable meal and great conversation. This hotel is truly a breath of fresh air—I absolutely love it!Show More

They feel a bit like a prison cell or dorm room from the 1970s as far as lay...The hotel lobby, restaurant, and cafe are all fantastic and lovely. Unfortunately the actual rooms are less than ideal. They feel a bit like a prison cell or dorm room from the 1970s as far as layout and features. The bed was so low to the ground that getting in and out of bed was uncomfortable. In addition noise from other guests in the hallway entering and exiting their rooms was very audible in the room, and the HVAC produced a sound like a slamming door every time it kicked on or off. In addition, half the rooms overlook residences with dogs that barked all hours of the day. The staff was wonderful and accommodating, but this hotel needs maintenance and sound proofing to be an enjoyable stay.Show More
