We had such a wonderful stay at the Frederick for 5 nights in early October. It was a special trip for my partner and I, our 5 year anniversary & my 30th birthday. On arrival, everyone was so friendly...We had such a wonderful stay at the Frederick for 5 nights in early October. It was a special trip for my partner and I, our 5 year anniversary & my 30th birthday. On arrival, everyone was so friendly and welcoming - we got to our room to find a bottle of prosecco, delicious macarons, new York pretzels and birthday balloons. It was the perfect way to kick off our trip! The hotel was so beautiful, our room was small (in the classic New York style) but had plenty of room for our suitcases and it was spotless and well maintained. Breakfast was so handy and a great peaceful start to jam packed days exploring the city. We had such sweet chats with everyone at the front desk and Robert the manager, lots of recommendations too! We were even able to leave our suitcases for free on our check out day. When we went to go pick them up, we found some more macarons & a personal letter from the manager, who we'd been chatting to earlier. Thoroughly recommend this hotel. The location is so convenient and much quieter and calmer then staying in midtown. There's a subway station right outside the front door which was so convenient. All in all, our trip was so much more enjoyable and special because we stayed at the Frederick. Book it, you won't be disappointed!Show More

Gosh I used to love this place. It’s been my regular spot many visits pre and post Covid. .. It’s not horrible mind you - the towels are pretty fluffy and I still like the decor but it’s constantly “in a state of repair” and the sounds coming from inside faulty AC ducts and outside from NYC noise this time have me reconsidering. My room is showing wear and tear, the refrigerator isn’t cold, but my room is too breezy… what I used to think as boutique charm is now an annoyance too - you can’t hang up anything long in the closet, no luggage rack, rooms so small you have to shimmy around the bed etc. The small quarters have always been the case but served up with a smile. All of this may be forgiveable if the front desk staff was just a little more hospitable. I’m starting to feel like a number - and I think I will take this number on down the road next time.Show More

We were not able to check in early, but we were able to leave ...The Frederick Hotel is the perfect place to stay for a weekend in Tribeca. The location is ideal. The hotel and its staff are lovely. We were not able to check in early, but we were able to leave our bags at noon. We received a text before the scheduled check in time that our room was ready. Then, the following day, the hotel stored our bags from 11-1 so that we could stay a bit longer in the city. The rooms are clean and the bed was very comfortable. This is the third time that we have stayed at the Frederick and we just love it. Oh, and the breakfast at Serafina was great. Lastly, we got a discount on the parking garage a couple blocks away.Show More

I was greeted by evening cocktail hour (free wine) and nice evening jazz in the lounge. I loved the historic building which was nicely updated. My corner room was extremely functional and comfortable (but not larger). The staff was super friendly. Though the building was historic, it had a nice more modern vibe. I would definitely stay there again. Great location in the heart of DTNYC and a very nice experience at a reasonable price.Show More
