I wanted to stay in the French Quarter area based on the attractions nearby and some discussions with a frie...I had never been to Charleston, so I did a lot of research before deciding on Fulton Lane. I wanted to stay in the French Quarter area based on the attractions nearby and some discussions with a friend who had been before. Fulton Lane seemed to fit the bill. From the website, the photos of the rooms were attractive, the pricing was very competitive, and the free breakfast delivered to my room was a definite plus. We were not disappointed. The front desk folks were always friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delivered each day on time, and was delicious. Our room was spacious and clean. My wife and I like to walk, so it wasn't a big deal for us to walk to all the places we wanted to go; the Fort Sumter visitor center, Fleet Landing and Poogan's Porch restaurants, Palmetto Carriage Rides, Charleston City Market, the Battery, and Waterfront Park with the Pineapple Fountain. It was a short, three night stay, and we packed a lot into it. We would definitely stay here again.Show More

I found Fulton Lane Inn online and liked the historical look of the building and rooms as well as its location in the old town area. Upon arrival we were greeted and immediately felt comfortable and welcomed. Our room was very cute, and the bathroom was a good size. The whole room was very clean. The Inn is centrally located and we spent our time walking through Charleston. We stayed two nights before leaving for the next city on our trip. We really enjoyed out stay and we highly recommend Fulton Lane Inn. We would definitely stay there again.Show More

It was a lovely welcoming gesture. Therra the concierge was very helpful in giving us advice on what to see, and making reservations at any place we wanted. They also bring breakfast to your room. There is complimentary wine and cheese in the early evening at their sister property next door. The room had high ceilings and a comfortable bed. The shades didn’t keep all the light out so if you want to sleep late, bring a sleep mask. There was some noise from trucks in the mornings. It’s in a great location on King Street. Everywhere we wanted to go was in walking distance.Show More

Its adjacent, sizeable and relatively inexpensive carpark meant we just left our car safely there throughout our stay. The Inn’s bedroom/kitchen suite to which we were granted an upgrade proved very comfortable and the gratis breakfast served daily in our room an excellent touch to start each day. The staff proved excellent concierges, full of helpful Charleston info., and the nightly Manager’s wine and cheese reception a pleasant start for the rest of the evenings’ adventures.Show More
