Location is fairly central- it’s a 10 minute walk to Duomo so definitely easy to navigate. The rooms are clean. We are in the family room so definitely bigger than the others and it was more than enou...Location is fairly central- it’s a 10 minute walk to Duomo so definitely easy to navigate. The rooms are clean. We are in the family room so definitely bigger than the others and it was more than enough for 4. Here are a few quirks that caused me to give the rating I did- 1. It’s located within the ZTL, meaning you can’t have any cars drop you off there but you can get as close as 3 min away from it. Really not a bit deal and a pretty short walk, but just an fyi if you’re trying to get a taxi to go there, hired a car driving service or are planning to drive there. Not a ding on the hotel as this is obviously not in their control at all- this particular point is just for informational purposes. 2. They don’t really have an area to store your stuff so it’s just out in the lobby to the extent you want to leave your stuff either on the day of your arrival or departure. Not a huge deal but you would think a 4-star hotel would have this type of space set up. 3. Ah the internet- it was completely out when we went so they had some kind of pocket wifi that was only accessible from the lobby and even then was extremely spotty, borderline unusable. And there is no service available even if you want to use internet via your phone not on their wifi. Yes of course you’re there to see Florence and not be on the internet 24/7. But the complete unavailability of internet made is so we had to be on the side of the street figuring things out instead of doing so beforehand in our hotel room. Not the end of the world but highly highly inconvenient and also not up to par with what I view as a 4 star hotel. They weren’t particularly apologetic about it either, which wasn’t great. 4. Breakfast was not that great compared to the other 3 or 4 stars hotel we stayed at in other cities in Italy. If you’re contemplating paying more to include breakfast, I’d recommend skipping. 5. The showers are TINY. And by tiny i mean that the opening to get in is about 10-12 inches wide so if you’re bigger than that you’ll definitely have a hard time getting in and out.Show More

Here, you don’t just feel like a tourist, you feel like ...This was my fourth visit to Florence, and I spent one wonderful week in a single room at this hotel — I truly feel that I was lucky to find it. Here, you don’t just feel like a tourist, you feel like a guest. The location is simply perfect — very close to the main train station and just a few minutes’ walk from Basilica San Lorenzo and Mercato Centrale. My room was extremely comfortable, everything designed with great attention to detail and the guest’s comfort in mind. The bed was wonderfully wide and cozy, and the room had absolutely everything I needed — all new and fully functional. I must mention the cleaning: it was spotless, truly perfect. Breakfast was just perfect for me 😊: fresh fruit, muesli, yogurt, and great coffee made to order. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive: Jasmine and Giovanni at the reception, Leiann, Mia, and Dina at breakfast, and a young Italian lady with beautiful dark curly hair (unfortunately I don’t know her name) who kept everything in perfectly clean. Giovanni and Kristel were very kind and informative about the areas and town of Firenze. Jasmine and Dina are equally great for front counter services as well as always recommending us on where and what to do in the surrounding areas ( Duomo, DelVecchio etc). Your morning food services is delicious and we truly enjoyed your fresh squeezed OJ ( Lol) . We were greeted by an outstanding services of Jessica, Miah, Lean, and Nikka). The non- stop services of these ladies was nice to witness. They were all friendly and good people. We will recommend your hotel to our friends who will travel to Florence.
