Situated right along the Arno River, the location is unbeatable, offering spectacular views that feel both intimate and grand. You immediately understand the level of luxury when you step into the lobby and realize you're being greeted by a Picasso hanging on the wall!
The five-star experience is delivered flawlessly by the staff, who are attentive and helpful in every way. Knowing the hotel is owned by the Ferragamo family adds a fun layer of exclusivity, especially since guests receive a discount for the Ferragamo flagship store—a perk we definitely took advantage of!
The rooms are perfectly maintained, and the modern comforts are appreciated; the air conditioning works well, which is essential during the warmer months. The attention to detail extends to the bathroom, where you're treated to the full Ferragamo skincare line as amenities.
The location is excellent. You are just a quick bridge crossing away from the town center, which means you have convenient access without being right in the thick of the crazy tourist crowds. We were delighted to find one of the city's best gelaterias just down the street!
The only quirk is the beautiful outdoor eating area. While it offers prime views, it is always crowded because it's a well-trafficked photo spot for passersby. It's a small price to pay for such a prime location, though.
Overall, if you are looking for a true five-star stay where art, luxury, and service converge, and you want to feel both connected to and removed from the tourist rush, Hotel Lungarno is an exceptional choice.Show More
