It w...The stay started out bad because the room we were given had problems with the thermostat for the heater and AC unit. But to the Hotel‘s credit, they gave us a new room that was upgraded slightly. It was still an inconvenience, having to repack, transfer our luggage to the new room, and unpack again.
The location of the hotel is excellent, right off Canal Street across from the French Quarter. Also the rooms were very clean.
Between midnight to 1 o’clock the room next to us had very loud music, sounded like they were having a Halloween party that night. Did not complain to the hotel because the music stopped in about an hour.
The breakfast was below average. The food was very bland surprisingly since we were in New Orleans. Also, they did not have any gluten-free choices. Most Best Western’s I’ve stayed at have gluten-free bread or muffins.
Also, the morning of checkout we were running a little late and requested an extra hour. We were informed that for each extra hour we would be charged $50. Most hotels I’ve stayed at are more lenient on their checkout policy.Show More
