From the warm welcome at reception to being shown to our room immediately, the service was excellent throughout. Our standard king room was comfortable, well-appointed, and spotless, with quality amenities, a well-stocked minibar, and even a small in-room library. The hotel offers many quiet spaces, such as the library, atrium, and rooftop decks, as well as livelier areas like the outdoor seating facing Ocean Drive. The hotel's art collection and the impressive Betsy Orb, which connects the two buildings, add to its unique charm. We spent our days between the nearby beach, only a short walk away and fully serviced, and the rooftop pool, which offers wonderful views. A second pool on the ground floor provides a more sheltered alternative. A particular highlight was meeting Betsy and Rosa, the hotel's resident Labradors, together with their owner Jonathan. Their presence truly adds to the hotel's warm, welcoming atmosphere. A special thank you to Fritzner, who took exceptional care of us and accommodated our check-in and check-out requirements with great flexibility. This was our first stay at The Betsy, and we look forward to returning.Show More

I had stayed nearby and had wanted to stay at the Betsy after calling in for drinks on a previous vacation. The Hotel is privately owned and full of unique character and charm ,which gives you a warm and welcoming feeling as soon as you book in. The Hotel is two buildings linked together by a corridor which is called the 'Orb' which makes finding some parts a bit complicated but you soon get used to it and it adds to the endearing quirkiness of the building. We used the restaurant and bar of the hotel many times and they were excellent both for the quality of food/drink and service. One of our favourite things to do was sit on the terrace overlooking Ocean Drive and the beach ,enjoying a cocktail and watching the world go by. But the best thing about the Betsy are the staff who were all wonderful and clearly loved their jobs .I cannot remember all the names but Gennaviva in the cocktail bar and Ray ,Carlos and Joanny in the restaurant stand out. We are hoping to return next year.Show More

First time at the Betsy… what a beautiful hotel. We stayed 3 nights. The location is perfect. Beach just across the street with chaises and umbrellas that are not right on top of each other. Hotel ...First time at the Betsy… what a beautiful hotel. We stayed 3 nights. The location is perfect. Beach just across the street with chaises and umbrellas that are not right on top of each other. Hotel is on the north end of Ocean Drive which is just a bit quieter than the rest of the hotels in that area. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go except for the sunset cruise that left from downtown Miami. Don’t underestimate how long the Uber ride is to the Bayside Marina area! Our room was just big enough and spotless. The staff was very helpful particularly Angel at the front desk and Art the concierge. The lobby was so relaxing… great bar and a piano player who was very good. We enjoyed one breakfast and one dinner. Both were very good. I’d recommend eating outside on the porch. I’m sure we could have stayed in a less expensive hotel but my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and his retirement… well worth the money. In fact we’d love to return and stay at the Betsy again.Show More
