Where to start - in this case checked in Thursday afternoon looking forward to 4 days of some work and relaxation! The staff started strongly with a glass of bubbly at checkin! Nicely done! Room was upgraded to a Terrace as a Hilton Diamond from the poolside room I booked - in hindsight not really an upgrade as it takes you to the Penthouse floor but away from the pool :(( Overall the rooms very nice at check in - from there it just went down the entire stay Took an Uber that night to nearby sushi restaurant that exceeded expectations!! Thank Paperfish!! Had a nightcap at the lobby bar which went well. Friday am breakfast positively surprised me and I thought “how nicely served and presented and flavors” From this highlight it all went downhill - I was told when the bottled water gets exhausted in the room to request more - it was like a chore to get additional water the entire stay. A well stocked mini bar and Nespresso machine had me begging 🙏 for restocks from the front desk several times a day - asking for water - asking for coffee pods - asking to restock mini bar - asking for housekeeping……….. OMG - multiple times a day - asking - asking - asking Exhausting Remember that awesome breakfast - well it all went downhill - eggs everyday overcooked even with me asking - asking not to overcook Bacon undercooked - asking - asking not to undercook Crescent came stale and cold - the next two days - out of crescents - out of sourdough Asking to get a warm up on my coffee - everyday Asking for Salt & Pepper Saturday night I decided to dine in and ordered the handmade Gnocchi’s and it was undercooked Asking for a late check out - 1:00 pm ExhaustedShow More

At ...Our stay at the hotel was generally pleasant; however, there was one significant issue that affected the overall experience. It was clear that the property is severely and noticeably understaffed. At the front desk, there were only one, occasionally two, staff members available to assist all guests, and they were constantly busy with check-ins, inquiries, and phone calls. There was only one bellman on duty, and at times none at all. The bellman simply could not keep up with everything that needed to be done. I also observed that the two young women working at the front desk were trying to help guests with their luggage, which I don’t believe is appropriate given how busy they already were, in addition to the physical strain of handling luggage. When they were unable to assist, they had to call the valet, but there was only one valet available as well, responsible not only for retrieving vehicles but also for driving the golf cart. The staff themselves were exceptional: kind, professional, and clearly doing their best. However, they are undeniably overworked and understaffed, and unfortunately this impacts the level of service. As a result, the experience does not meet the standards one would expect from a luxury property.Show More

The bar is compact but well executed, and the hotel offers a convenient golf cart service for transportation within one mile. Although I booked a good room category, I was placed in a basement-level room that was extremely small. When I requested an upgrade, the front desk initially told me there were multiple rooms available; five minutes later, when I chose one, I was informed the entire hotel was suddenly sold out. The staff did acknowledge the mix-up, but given the level of the property, I expected a more proactive or polished response. The layout of the hotel is also confusing, requiring guests to walk through the bar to reach the front desk, and then navigate several hallways, doors, and pool areas to access the rooms. While the design elements are strong, the overall experience means I would not stay here again.Show More
