This is without a doubt one of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The interior design is truly unmatched, it has such a beautiful, refined aesthetic that gives off a wonderful “old money” feel. ...This is without a doubt one of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The interior design is truly unmatched, it has such a beautiful, refined aesthetic that gives off a wonderful “old money” feel. My whole family absolutely loved it. The location couldn’t be more perfect for anyone visiting Miami or Miami Beach. The pool area is stunning (and heated!), and being right off the beach with its own beds makes it even more amazing. The beach itself is picture-perfect, exactly what you’d hope for on a Miami getaway. The reception staff were all extremely kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. However, I do want to mention that there was one bellboy who was unfortunately quite rude to me and several members of my family on different occasions. His attitude made us feel rather unwelcome and uncomfortable, which was disappointing given how wonderful the rest of the staff were. One other minor issue was the limited number of sunbeds by the pool. They tend to be taken quickly of course, but the staff were always helpful in trying to find us a spot, even if there was sometimes a short wait. Overall, despite that one experience, this hotel was truly exceptional. We visit Miami every year, mostly for work, and we would absolutely stay here again. We’ll definitely be recommending it to others as well!Show More

Das Hotel punktet definitiv mit seiner hervorragenden Lage, dem etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Art-Déco-Stil und einem der längsten Pools in Miami Beach, der von Palmen gesäumt ist und eigentlich zum Entspannen einlädt. Das Personal war freundlich und bemüht, allerdings schwankte die Servicequalität je nach Tageszeit. Die Zimmer sind stilvoll, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Glücklicherweise war die Gebühr für Strandliegen und Resortleistungen bei uns inkludiert.Show More

I can concur the staff in the whole are superb. The hotel itself is in an amazing location right on Miami Beach. The communal areas are well presented but overall the rooms feel a little tired and in need of a refresh. The pool area could be great and I am sure usually is but at present there is a new hotel being built next door and the noise of the building works was very very loud between 8am and around 4pm. For us it made the pool unusable during those hours which was really disappointing and for any pool people out there I’d think twice about staying here whilst the building is going on. There are also unsightly fences up to shield the view of the building site next door. I appreciate it’s not the hotels fault but if we had been made aware we’d have chosen another property. Would we go back to the national. Definitely but not until the building work next door is finished which looks like it could be a long time.Show More

She is so fun and kind. We ran her ragged one day moving chairs and fighting the rain and she constantly had a smile on her face and ensured we were comfortable and happy. Pablo was also a delight as our pool side serve. Alex at the front desk also took time to give us all his local recommendations! The pool is great - clean, spacious and an equal amount of sun and shade. I will note there is construction happening at the neighboring property right now (September 2025), that can take away from the tropical ambiance. Loved that the beach is steps away with dedicated chairs for hotel guests (to escape the construction noise). Room notes for those curious: Walls are pretty thin, and internal noise travels. No bathroom fan, so with the humidity towels struggle to dry - but there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom area. Beds are super comfy, and we have everything we need for an enjoyable stay!Show More
