Feel scammed. 100% of the photos outside are of a reasonably nice hotel. That is not what you get. You'll get a room in a dilapidated motel while they try and upsell you. We were told at check in there's a 10% off at their restaurant, nope that isn't true. "Where's your blue dot? Nope, only if you booked directly on the 3rd Thursday after a harvest moon" $35 a day for parking and I think she mumbled something about a resort fee....Def not a resort! (Update, $20 a night resort fee. You've a gd pool, you're not a resort. So thats $55 a night upchanged for a room in a motel 6, for the same price as the Hyatt across the street. Do not fall for this scam. I'll be back, but at the Hyatt next time!) Im mostly upset at the bait n switch tactic of using one building for all online presence, but making zero effort to be honest about what youre actually going to get. I think it was only about a $20 difference but they're banking on renting out cheap rooms at inflated prices because you're too tired when you check in and dont know what you've got until its too late. (Also....told 2 complimentary drinks per night, which are a joke: its a can of lager. And it isn't per night.....unlike the parking and resort fees,which absolutely are. On second night I was told it was a welcome courtesy, and where are my coupons? This place is nasty, all around. Id give it a zero if I could. Go accross the street to the hyatt, by any means necessary!!)Show More

De kamers zijn ruim met comfortabele bedden, de badkamer is schoon en er was een gezellig zitje buiten in de tuin. Er zijn 2 zwembaden en ze waren tot 23 uur open dat was heerlijk. Het avondeten in het restaurant is goed, er is geen ontbijtservice maar je kunt alacarte ontbijten en dat is erg lekker. Er is een ruimte met wasmachines waar je met behulp van een app kunt wassen en drogen voor een klein bedrag. Parkeren is nagenoeg voor de deur van je hotelkamer. De poolbar was ook gezellig en er werden films vertoond in de avond aan het zwembad. Personeel is heel vriendelijk. Het hotel ligt op 5 minuten rijden vanaf Seaworld en op korte afstand van Old Town San Diego, MSS Midway en de San Diego Zoo. Kortom een ideaal en comfortabel verblijf.Show More

We were met by Lori at the front desk and she honestly set the tone for our entire stay. She was so sweet and really made a point to make my husband feel special! We truly enjoyed talking with her. Her love for her job really shines through! When we checked in we were so happy with our room! The views from the hotel are beautiful. We ordered a cocktail from the Firefly Restaurant before heading to the pool and it was delicious! The main pool is awesome with bay and marina views. Their other pool, the Tropical Pool, has movie nights every night of the week. So fun! There is so much to do for kids here we can’t wait to come back and bring our son. They also have a free shuttle to Sea World which I thought was a really great feature. Very pleasantly surprised by not only the property but especially the service. Already planning our next trip!
