Pros: location, extremely friendly staff, affordable price for the quarter Cons: not cleaned well at all (hair wrapped around the toilet bowl, hair in the shower, soap marks in the shower corner, used...Pros: location, extremely friendly staff, affordable price for the quarter Cons: not cleaned well at all (hair wrapped around the toilet bowl, hair in the shower, soap marks in the shower corner, used soap on counter, rings from some kind of sticky drink on the bedside table and desk), complimentary waters missing, phone didn't work (mostly pulled out of wall), two outlets broken, rust all over the mini fridge, flushed a dead bug and toilet flushed continuously for 45 minutes (maintenance person fixed, however, there was water all around the floor near the toilet and on the toilet seat, so he used a white towel from the room to wipe it down for me, but then just threw the towel into the tub), bed sheet was clean, but stained and had a hole, furniture was stained and discolored, black mold on shower curtain For the second room type I moved into when my bestie joined me: Pros: very comfy beds Cons: heating didn't work (was there during a random cold snap) so had to drape two bedsheets over the balcony door, remote didn't work (called front desk for batteries and they never came back), hair dryer was melted, dirty furnitureShow More

Horrible. Room was so smelly I am pretty sure there was mold I was having issues with sneezing. Room was in the courtyard and the sofa in the room was literally covered in stains. Room was in the courtyard and the sofa in the room was literally covered in stains. I wouldn't let anyone I love sit on it let alone sleep on it. Also the bathroom sink was clogged the whole time. Not the best experience. Bed was HARD as rock and the "comforter" they provide is literally a flat sheet. That alone was so disappointing. Yes a historic old hotel is going to have some issues as I've stayed in a lot in this area. But this was next level. For almost 700$ stay I regret choosing them. Don't even get me started on the "hotel bar" that refused to serve us till everyone in the bar was served since she saw we had a hotel provided drink ticket. Horrible horrible. Unless you can get this hotel for under 100$ a night. Not worth it.Show More

The hotel itself is located in a great location. Easy access to all the French Quarter happenings. The rooms, those are another story. The rooms, those are another story. When we checked in, it was clear our bathroom had not been cleaned. There were fresh towels, but nothing else. The shower and toilet had black hairs all over them (I am a blonde) and there was a used bar of soap in the shower with black hairs all over it as well. Trash in the trashcans and crumbs on the floor. Our friends stayed in the room over and they had all of the issues mentioned above as well but they didn't get the fresh towels like we did. They instead had wet towels from someone else hanging on the door and white powder all over the carpet.... Front desk was very nice, staff was nice, just needs some major deep cleaning, updates and TLCShow More

Our room was damp and smelled of mildew. The TV was old and didn’t work and neither did the outlets. Also, there are like NO outlets in the room. The bathroom wasn’t very clean and we never received room service even though we left all day and placed the placard on the bed for clean sheets and towels. The walls are super thin and overall just extremely outdated interior that needs a massive upgrade. We won’t be back unless we absolutely have to.Show More
