I have stayed both in the Quarter and in the Central Business District before, and this was easily one of my favorite stays. A special shoutout to Alex at the front desk on overnights. She is wonderful!! Friendly, welcoming, full of local knowledge, and someone we genuinely looked forward to seeing each evening. She is so kind! The hotel puts you right in the heart of all the action on Bourbon Street. You can step outside and be in the middle of the excitement, yet walk one or two blocks and find yourself in the calmer and quieter areas of the Quarter. It is the perfect blend of convenience and comfort. Noise was never an issue for us. You can hear the energy in the lobby, but it did not carry into our room at all. The air conditioning worked great and kept the room cool throughout our stay which was especially appreciated during warm afternoons. The property is very clean and has a warm historic feel, especially in the lobby. Housekeeping did a wonderful job each day and allowed us to sleep in which we truly appreciated. I highly recommend reserving a courtyard facing room with a balcony. The view of the courtyard and pool is peaceful and relaxing. Even sitting outside felt like a quiet retreat from the bustle below. Once the balcony door is closed, the room is completely quiet. If your room faces Bourbon, it will be lively, so the courtyard side is ideal if you prefer a more relaxing stay. As a longtime Bonvoy member, I was extremely pleased with our stay and would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to NOLA. I wasn’t able to get an Uber because my bank had placed a temporary block on my card for security reasons, because I was in America and I hadn’t informed them about in advance. This was understandable, but it meant I had to take a taxi that accepted cash. Unfortunately, the driver initially tried to charge me $100 for the ride. I declined and paid him half, and later I discovered that the going rate from the airport to the French Quarter is around $36—something worth keeping in mind for future travellers. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was still frustrated from the taxi experience and came across somewhat abrasive. However, the front desk staff remained calm, professional, and helpful throughout the check-in process, which I greatly appreciated. I was placed on the second floor. The room was bright, clean, and modern, with a comfortable bed and a smart TV that allowed me to sign into my own Netflix account—a thoughtful touch. The shower was excellent, and although earplugs were provided, I didn’t find them necessary. Breakfast was tasty and served from 7 a.m., offering a good start to the day. Later, when I returned to the hotel around 10:30 p.m., I ordered food at the bar, and it was ready within 15 minutes—fast and convenient. Overall, the hotel delivers on comfort, cleanliness, and service. Despite a rocky start to my trip, my stay here was positive, and I would recommend this hotel to others.Show More

This was by far the best staff I have ever encountered on vacation. They were friendly from the time I walked through the door to the time we left to come home. The room was so quaint, clean, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! We stayed in a courtyard balcony room and I would highly recommend this. We did not hear any noise from Bourbon street on this side of the hotel. Speaking of Bourbon street you literally step out the front door to a load of entertainment, shops, bars, restaurants, etc. So if you are looking for a central location to all of Bourbon St. and close to other areas, this is the place. We unfortunately had a security incident outside of the hotel, that had nothing to do with the hotel itself, but when we brought the issue to the security team to be on the lookout for the individual, not only did they make sure to alert the entire team, they had us send them pictures to circulate to the entire staff. The head of security also called the next day to make sure that we knew they took our concerns seriously and asked if there was anything additional they could do to make us more comfortable. You cannot beat that kind of care and service. I would ten out of ten recommend this venue and this will be where I book the next time we come out for vacation. It was worth every penny!Show More
