What stands out is the customer service, kindness and app...We have been travelling around the USA for 4 weeks and this was the best hotel we have stayed in, including some that were double the price. What stands out is the customer service, kindness and approachability of the staff that is clearly engrained in their culture. From the moment we arrived, apologetically but tired post a long flight, Aaliyah got us checked in early and provided us with details on the amenities and her must do list in Austin which we really appreciated. We requested a kettle for a tea at night - it was immediately brought to the room. Overnight I needed ibuprofen and realised the packet I brought was expired - we asked the front desk and they were happy to provide it. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The room was HUGE - and we actually paid for the smallest, cheapest room. The bathroom was also huge with amazing water pressure in the shower. The climate control in the room was perfection and allowed a peaceful and comfortable night sleep. The soft amenities such as towels, pillows and bedding weee luxurious and felt super expensive. We used the gym and the pool and both were fantastic. The location was great in downtown and we easily walked everywhere. I would implore anyone looking to come to Austin to stay at this hotel. This proved to be extremely helpful ...The Hotel ZaZa is a boutique hotel in a good location in downtown Austin. One of its best features is a free shuttle service within a 1-2 mile radius of the hotel. This proved to be extremely helpful as we didn't rent a car and public transport wasn't a great option. The entire valet team were extremely accommodating and service was speedy - you just had to call the valet and someone would drop you or pick you up. This included a drop off/pickup near the stadium for a Texas Longhorns game. I do wish the hotel had more dining options (there was one near the pool) but this proved to be a minor detraction since there were several restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel ZaZa. In all, this boutique property offered well appointed rooms (not the usual hotel fare) with friendly staff and a good overall location. Coupled with a great valet team it proved to be a good choice in downtown Austin.Show More

I think it’s priced a little below that, but it’s ...My wife and I stayed here four nights in late July 2025, over a weekend. We had an enjoyable stay. This place is nice. It’s a luxury hotel, for sure. I think it’s priced a little below that, but it’s that quality. I’d choose it again without hesitation. The room was large and new and really nice. The bed and pillows were excellent. Much better than most hotels. We had a room with a balcony and the balcony was also nice, but it was too hot to enjoy. Just a heads up to anyone heading to Austin in July, it’s surface-of-the-sun hot there that time of year. I knew this going in, and yet I was still complaining the entire time. This review isn’t about the July heat in Austin, but if it were: zero stars. There were nice little surprises throughout our stay at the ZaZa. They do turndown service later in the day and they leave a whoopee pie on the night table. Such a nice touch. The world needs more whoopee pies. My only suggestion is to leave two whoopee pies. It’s awkward explaining an empty whoopee pie wrapper to your wife. They also have lollipops and candy in the lobby in the afternoons. Tootsie pops, no less. Not those crappy dum dums. Dum dums are nothing more than a cough drop on a stick. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll crush a butterscotch dum dum. But compared to a tootsie pop, it’s no contest. So suffice to say I had quite a few tootsie pops in Austin. To me, Austin is the city of tootsie pops. And they serve cookies in the afternoons. Delicious, chocolate chip cookies in individual bags. On top of all this, they have a car service you can use. It’s a big Escalade, sitting at the entrance, and if you need a ride around town, you tell the valet guys and they’ll take you. And they’ll pick you up too. Free of charge, so the only cost is a tip, which they say they usually get 5-10 bucks, so I gave 10 per ride. Same as an uber but more convenient and nicer. All the niceties aside, I’d stay here without them. It’s a clean, cool, new hotel with a great restaurant and pool and staff. The tootsie pops just send it to the next level.Show More

She was ...My Suzie had a legendary birthday and we wanted to celebrate by chillin downtown in style. Hotel Zaza was recommended to us by our awesome travel agent from Departure Lounge, Ginger Nelson. She was able to secure the Sea Side suite. One of the Magnificent 7 suites located on the 12th floor. Upon arrival, the check in was swift and pleasant. The lobby was so well appointed with art and cool furniture which set the tone of our visit. The bellman welcomed us with a smile and took care of our luggage and whip. Complimented some of my shirts which were transported on the bell cart to our rooms. The agent that checked us in let us know of some of the perks we had coming and let us know of the amenities of the hotel. Provided us with a couple of cold waters for the journey to our room. They had accommodated an early check in, so we dropped in around 1pm. Great start to the wonderful weekend. Upon entering our room, Suz was smitten. 1000 Sq Ft, never looked so good. Theme of the the seaside was everywhere. The place was huge. Our view of the city was brilliant and a little balcony where we could sit and toast the sunset beckoned us. In a separate room there was a huge, fluffy soft king bed for our evening beddy byes. Crisp clean inviting sheets and perfect pillows. There was plenty of places to put our clothes, a little safe and everything was clean and bright. Bathroom was spacious with all the stuff we needed. There were nice big TV's which we were able to link to our phones for our streaming channels. The room was quiet and inviting every time we came back from our outdoor shenanigans. The only small miss wat the door between the living/bedroom was coming off it's hinge. That's just being very picky. All the staff we encountered from the maids, bell hops, front of reception staff were excellent. Having the availability to be driven around in the Hotel Car, think slick black big ol burban here, was an extra treat. Made one feel very VIP. Will we be back.. absolutely.Show More
