Very ni...Stayed here for four nights in a premium city view room. The front desk staff were all super helpful and friendly all the time; really appreciated that. Was on 16th floor, out of 18 floors. Very nice room and view of the city. Was spacious and mostly functional except for not the brightest lighting in the bathroom, which the wife didn’t like. Room was relatively quiet except some guests nearby would just let their door slam, which is ridiculous but not the hotels fault. A/C worked well. They have complimentary passes at front desk to cover streetcars and buses, which is great. Had breakfast included, which covers up to $45 per day. Ate breakfast at Kings restaurant one day and was very good and large portions. Other days went to the smaller Gospel restaurant where you order at the counter and can get smaller items, though had plenty to choose from and was excellent. Basically, you charge everything to the room, and then at check out they will calculate the amount of credit (up to $45 per day); and credit that from your bill. Location is convenient to Bourbon Street, restaurants, riverfront, and Garden district (latter via streetcar). The area is nice and fairly quiet at night, and safe to walk around. There are a few convenience stores within 2-3 blocks for getting provisions at a reasonable cost. Caesars casino is a 3 minute walk if you want to play a few games. Overall enjoyed the stay at this property and would stay again when in NOLA.Show More

Pairing them together was perfect! Stayed for our anniversary and got top-of-the-line service. We did have a room issue upon check-in, but it was rectified immediately, and they topped it off with an apology treat. Our bed was comfortable, the tub in the bathroom made for a great soak - when we received the proper tub stopper. There was more than enough room to relax in our 1-bedroom suite, and we took full advantage of it for the week we were there. While checking out, the hotel was inundated with three wedding parties, yet they still found time and energy to ensure that we were pleased with our stay. I will always check here first whenever I plan to visit New Orleans. We were only steps away from the French Quarter, and everywhere we wanted to go within the city was accessible by trolley or on foot. October in New Orleans is still quite warm, so be prepared for that if you're from a colder climate, like I am. Our suite was part of a connected room. Usually, this annoys me, but I don't think we had anyone in the adjacent room the entire week we were there. The hotel provided Wine Down Wednesdays, nightly happy hours, and three different restaurants to choose from. If we didn't want to leave the hotel at all, we still would have had a great time.Show More

Like, I was actually SAD to leave. The hotel is so charming and the staff incredibly accommodating and helpful. I especially want to call out Emma, who made sure everything was perfect for us (18th floor city view was SPECTACULAR) and came through for me when I needed some emergency personal care products. The hotel itself is clean, smells amazing, and everyone goes out of their way to make sure guests feel welcome. Coffee in the morning, wine and candied pretzels in the afternoon...what more can you ask for? The bed was so incredibly comfortable and felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the bath products smelled amazing. Also, the food in both the Peacock Room and King Brasserie is delicious. Don't sleep on the cheese grits or the buttermilk biscuits. Trust me on that one. I can't wait to come back, and I'm already planning a future visit!Show More
